Great awesome place! Everything was clean and refreshing. I even talked to Penny the afternoon before check in because we chose to leave the afternoon before, she was able to get house cleaners in and we arrived just after they left at 8:30 pm. Location was great and only four minutes from marina!! Home is at a dead end street so no traffic or noise! This will be my place to stay on my trips back to Dale Hollow!! 5 star.If bring boat rent your slip at the marina, it’s covered and you get to leave trailer on there property for nothing!!

We had a great stay! The view was amazing, and the house was clean and the AC very comfortable. The location was perfect—really close to Sunset Marina, which made boating on Dale Hollow Lake so easy. The owners were fantastic—super helpful and quick to respond whenever we had questions. We would stay here again!

This was our second stay in this cabin. We love this place!! Jerry and Penny are the best hosts. They checked in on us several times to be sure we didn't need anything. We travel the state for bass fishing tournaments and stay in numerous VRBO properties. This one is our favorite! Bring your boat and enjoy Dale Hollow lake. Sunset Marina is a 5 minute drive from the house. Great cabin, very clean, and has everything you need for your stay. We will definitely be back!! Thank your Jerry and Penny for sharing your beautiful cabin!!

Christmas Holiday in the Mountains

The cabin is very nice. We wish there was more yard space to the property to walk around. Also, direct access to the lake would have been nice.

Tennessee Heaven

We had a great stay at this cabin. Everything was perfect, from check in to location to comfort to check out. Our furry family had a great time as well. Also, Penny and Jerry were the most communicative owners we’ve ever encountered. They made us feel at home even before we arrived. They are incredible hosts. We will be back!

This was such a great place to stay! We have typically camped when visiting Dale Hollow, and for several reasons, could not this year. So, this was our first time booking a home to stay in, and it did not disappoint! We were just minutes away from a marina and lake access. We had room for us to sleep 10 (6 adults, 2 teenagers, and 2 kids 5 and under) comfortably. The whole house and property were incredibly clean. Small corners and tucked away spaces seemed to be cleaned regularly. It honestly could not have been cleaner! Everything was in good, working order, and our three different families each felt like they had their own space. We had space to park two mini vans, and a truck with a boat trailer, without it feeling crowded at all. The property sits at a dead end of a street, and you basically have no neighbors around you. There's a beautiful outdoor deck area, with a really great view of the mountains, and a slight view of the lake below. More than all of that, Jerry and Penny were outstanding! A tree fell in the neighborhood the first night, briefly knocking out power. Penny called the utility company for us, and checked in often to make sure we were ok, and had power restored. They honestly take such good care of their guests, and their property! We would recommend this place to anyone, and will likely be finding our way back there ourselves!

The layout was not very convenient, and the view did not meet expectations. The largest bedroom was separated from the rest of the cabin and did not have a bathroom. There were no curtains or blinds in the largest bedroom or the living room, which made it hard to rest.We also had issues with the hot and cold water, one bathroom was not very clean, and no drinking water was provided. The cabin has potential, but these issues affected our stay.

This is a great cabin!! We were in town for the TN State High School Bass tournament. The cabin is very close to Sunset Marina. There is a good ramp even closer and you can launch for free but it is a gravel road to get to it. The cabin is very clean, well maintained and beautifully decorated. There wasn’t anything we needed that wasn’t there. The garage was a life saver as it rained every day we were there. We were able to park the boat in the garage and have a dry place to prep for the next day tournament. We fish all over the state and stay in cabins, houses, and campgrounds. This cabin definitely is our new favorite and we will definitely be back!! Jerry and Penny called to check in on us a couple times. Jerry and I even swapped some fishing stories! Great hosts! Great cabin! I wouldn’t change a thing.
