Good and highly recommended, but could be great

Small but nice, clean hotel in a gorgeous location, beach across the street. Breakfast buffet is excellent, and restaurant dinner is good, but service is poor. Very noisy hotel on the weekend. No office chair in the room to get work done at the built-in "desk.". To reserve a room, it must be prepaid and is non-refundable. They are manning the check-in desk 24/7 now.

This hotel is in front of Praia do Peró, next to Praia do Conchas. Words fall short to say that they are beautiful and incredible. In the mornings you can go for a walk or run on the beach. The hotel is beautiful, the food is exquisite. We went to celebrate our birthday, and we were surprised that they noted the date of birth in our passports, because at breakfast they sang Happy Birthday to us and made all the Brazilians who were staying sing and they did it with great pleasure. And they gave us a cake that we loved. There are also gluten-free options. What a beautiful hotel... the room was very comfortable. I'm going back to Cabo Frio... and this hotel made us feel at home.

Minha experiência no hotel foi extremamente decepcionante. A localização é boa e, aparentemente, se você não tiver nenhum problema durante a hospedagem, tudo corre de forma tranquila. Porém, a situação muda completamente quando o hóspede precisa reclamar de algo. A impressão que fica é que qualquer reclamação é tratada com aspereza, e o cliente passa a ser tratado como se estivesse errado por relatar um problema. Aliás, basta observar as avaliações publicadas em diversos sites para perceber um padrão: além das reclamações semelhantes, chama atenção a forma como muitas delas são respondidas. Em vez de buscar solucionar os problemas ou demonstrar empatia, a postura frequentemente parece defensiva, transferindo a responsabilidade para o hóspede. Não fui a única pessoa a ter essa percepção. Outro ponto preocupante é que os problemas com água quente parecem ser recorrentes. Antes de reservar, recomendo que os futuros hóspedes leiam atentamente as avaliações disponíveis, pois encontrarão diversos relatos semelhantes ao meu. Trata-se de uma falha básica para qualquer hotel e que, considerando o valor cobrado pelas diárias, não deveria acontecer. Além disso, o estado de conservação e manutenção de algumas áreas deixa a desejar, algo que pode ser observado nas próprias fotos. Para o padrão de preço praticado, a estrutura deveria estar muito melhor cuidada. Saí com a sensação de que o hotel investe mais em justificar problemas do que em resolvê-los. A estadia foi maravilhosa. O hotel é lindo, muito bem cuidado, extremamente limpo e com várias comodidades que fazem toda a diferença, como guarda-sol e cadeiras disponíveis na praia. Tudo é exatamente como nas fotos, o que traz muita tranquilidade na escolha. A equipe é incrível, pessoas gentis, educadas e sempre muito agradáveis, o que deixa a experiência ainda melhor. Atendimento fraco e poucas opções. Pedimos um hambúrguer e disseram que não poderiam servir porque estavam sem pão – e isso durou vários dias. Ficamos também sem água quente e não houve qualquer esforço para minimizar o transtorno. Serviços caros para a qualidade entregue. Não recomendo.
