Bike store. Private parking for 1 car; additional on road parking. No smoking.. Crawshaw Cottage is a modern and fresh holiday let, located within one of Buxton’s villages, Harpur Hill. As you arrive you will see how surrounded by countryside you are, and you can step into the fields from the doorstep.
On the ground floor of Crawshaw Cottage is an open-plan kitchen and diner with patio doors backing onto the lawned garden. The kitchen has everything in place for you to prepare a delicious meal which can be enjoyed around the dining room table, and there is also a sofa area here with a small TV. The sitting room offers ample seating to relax and enjoy a series or film on the Smart TV, a toilet is also available on the ground floor.
Upstairs are three bedrooms, the master is a kingsize bed with TV and an en-suite shower room, the second bedroom is made up of two twin beds which can be linked together to make a super-kingsize bed if requested, the third bedroom is a small room and only has a bunk bed with 4ft double on the bottom bunk and single bed on top. There is also a family bathroom with a shower over the bath. Outside is a private garden which is enclosed and has garden furniture. You also have access to the garage where you can store bikes/luggage, and the driveway provides parking for one car but there is ample street parking directly outside as well.
Buxton has a lot to offer for holiday makers, there are countless walking routes close by such as Solomans Temple or hop in the car to Tissington or High Peak trail. Castleton is a short drive where you can walk or explore the caverns or take a trip to Chatsworth House. Buxton town centre has many delicious restaurants, pubs and bars as well as independent cafés, a 5* spa plus the opera house with shows on weekly. Alton Towers is a short 45 minute drive away. There is something for all the family in this great area of the Peak District. Pub within 1 mile.

Great base for lots of great walks in the Peaks.
Great base for lots of great walks in the Peaks. On the edge of town, open views. Bus stop on doorstep, farm shop close. Village shop and pub (great food) short walk. Immaculate home, lots of space for us, our three grown up children and our dog. 2 bathrooms and 3 toilets. Perfect. Great to let dog out into the enclosed garden. Recommend.

This is a great holiday let and good base for the peaks.
This is a great holiday let and good base for the peaks. We found it super comfortable and very pleasant. It's a new house with all mod cons and super fast wifi. I mention that as there is no phone signal on any network (you'll need wifi calling) . Mind you just a little further towards Buxton and it's 5G?. Maybe a new mast will arrive. Anyway, the place was spotless and good to relax in. Private garden not particularly overlooked. Lots to see around the area and if you're keen, Alton Towers not too far. Pub and chippy not too far. Domino's will deliver if you're lazy. Thoroughly recommended if you want to go walking ir caving in nearby area.
