Das Hotel Zur Alten Post liegt in unweit des Büsumer Hafens, welcher in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen ist. Am Hafen liegen auch die (kostenpflichtigen/€ 10 für 24 h) öffentlichen Parkmöglichkeiten, sollte der hauseigene Parkplatz ausgebucht sein. Schon vor der Anreise wurden wir vom Hotel kontaktiert und für den Check-in relevante Daten wurde vor Anreise abgefragt, so verlief der Check-In vor Ort freundlich, schnell und effizient. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, in hellen Farben gehalten und modern eingerichtet, einen kleinen Balkon mit Sitzgelegenheiten gab es auch. Für meinen persönlichen Geschmack hätte die Matratze gerne härter sein dürfen, aber da hat ja jeder andere Vorlieben Wir haben im hoteleigenen Restaurant sehr gut zu Abend gegessen und auch das reichhaltige Frühstücksbüffet am nächsten Morgen ließ kaum einen Wunsch offen. Im ganzen Hotel, besonders aber im Restaurant, ist das freundliche und zuvorkommende Personal hervorzuheben!

Eine Woche im Hotel zur alten Post

Das Zimmer ansonsten war gut,aber es hatte kein Fenster nach draußen, sondern zu einem Lichtschacht. Man konnte nicht sehen,ob es regnet und ob die Sonne scheint konnte man nur sehen, wenn man aus dem angeblichen Fenster weit nach oben schaute wo ein Glasdach auf dem Lichtschacht war. Man hatte vor Jahren einen Anbau gemacht über den Autostellflächen, so das die Autos nun ein Dach hatten und die neuen Zimmer wurden vor den zwei anderen Zimmer gebaut.Man hat dann das Problem mit einem Lichtschacht gelöst sodas wenigstens Licht in das Hotelzimmer gelangte.Ich kam mir vor wie in einem Bunker! Die Stellplätze für die Autos sind sehr eng, wegen der Stützpfeiler für den Anbau., es war zwischen den Pfeilern wo die Autos stehen so ungefähr 4,50 Meter für zwei Autos. Dann hat man hinter den Autos an der Wand noch zwei Stellplätze geschaffen, aber zu lasten der Autos die dort parkten, denn beim ausparken hatte man ein Problem, mann konnte nicht genug zurücksetzen und das Lenkrad konnte man auch nicht einschlagen, wegen der Betonpfeiler.Und weil viele Urlauber ihre eigenen Fahrräder mitbringen ,werden die auch noch im Parkraum verteilt.Ohne Einweiser hat man keine Chance daraus zu kommen, und trotdem habe ich mir an meiner rechten Hintertür eine große Schramme geholt, sodas die Tür neu lackiert werden muß. Ich hatte den Eindruck, das diese zwei Zimmer immer an Kunden die online über ein Hotelportal buchen vergeben werden. Ich werde dieses Hotel nicht wieder buchen!

Im Großen und Ganzen fanden wir den Aufenthalt großartig! Wir waren im Neubau untergebracht und das Zimmer war geräumig, hell, sauber und modern eingerichtet. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral! Das Frühstück war lecker und das Abendessen im Restaurant ‚Zur alten Post‘ hat einen hohen Standard (Da gibt es im Büsum leider viele andere Restaurants, die nur darauf aus sind, denTouristen mit minderer Qualität zu hohen Preisen, das Geld aus der Tasche zu ziehen! Das ist bei ‚Zur alten Post‘ definitiv nicht der Fall und man merkt, das Tradition dahinter steckt.) Zwei Dinge sind mir jedoch eher negativ aufgefallen:1. Das Balkon-Geländer könnte auch nach jedem Besucher saubergemacht werden! 2. Das Hotel müsste Ventilatoren zur Verfügung stellen! Der Neubau wurde ohne Klimaanlage gebaut. Normalerweise braucht man das bei uns im Norden wahrscheinlich auch nicht. Aber die Luft stand und selbst nach dem Duschen war man wieder schweißnass!

Anstatt wie extra gebucht im neuen Trakt wurden wir im alten untergebracht. Auf Reklamation wurde nicht oder nur ausweichend eingegangen. Angeblich das alte Zimmer gebucht. Trotz Hinweis auf vorhandene Allergien wurde nur darauf verwiesen man wäre ausgebucht. Eine absolute Frechheit.
