La Estancia Busuanga is a beautiful place to stay if you're looking to disconnect (WiFi it available in the lobby) for a few days. The staff are amazing and will accommodate for any need. They have tours for island hopping available that leave from the property. We had a great time doing one of these! The drawback is that it is pretty far from the Busuanga airport (~1.5 hours) and Coron Town Proper (~1.75 hours) so if you're looking to go to popular places in Cotton like Kayangan Lake or Twin Lagoons, you'll need to prearrange that tour & pay a van fee to get there. Otherwise, we had a wonderful time!
We absolutely loved our four days at La Estancia. Be sure to do the island tour to Black Island - one of our favorite beaches we have ever been to. The restaurant staff was very accommodating to us and our children and the barbecue on the mountain top at sunset was wonderful, except for the mosquitoes. If you are looking for a place that is more unique and off the beaten path, look no further. This place was awesome.
It is quite an experience stay at la estancia. A place of serenity away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The beach is private and pristine. Nice gazebos with hammocks to add to the beautiful of the place. Food is great only if they can just move it indoiors but again I think it gives the uniqueness of the place. The staff are lovely and great very hard working people . You all made my stay very memorable and fun. Just relaxing on the terrace and enjoying the view as the sun peeks through the horizon makes the place worthwhile. Thank you very much. La Estancia
