Category 4 hotel that acts like a Category 6 and not in a good way. General manager and front desk manager were both out? So i was left with no other options but to talk to a Jenny Baek who was a complete waste of breath. Wad charged for a suite room price for 7 days upfront when using lifetime globalist suite upgrade. Her explanation was that this is protocol and she is following the rules. Called corporate to see if family could use the free breakfast and spa, they gave the green light but good ole Jenny didnt get the memo and was following the rules. I hope Jenny gets fired for her rudeness to customers. After this happened, some kid "accidently" hit the fire alarm which for some reason took over 10 minutes to turn off.... i say over because it was annoying after 5 minutes and i left, but the elevator for some reason takes 3 minutes after the light turns on to arrive. Did i mention the lobby is actually on the 30th floor? Who does that? The bathroom smells like medicine. The sofa is cheap. The tiling in the bathroom is poorly done. Management leaves at the same time and leaves someone incapable in charge. Living room has a view of the side of a very large building. The lifetime globalist gift is 2 tangerines and 1 bos of 6 pieces of small square no name brand chocolate. No club room, but thats expected. Good things? The bedroom view is beautiful. The room is clean. Free water. Oh wait that's a ton of other hotels in the area work better customer service.
I do love the contemporary design of the hotel with a blend of wood and metal elements. The room was very comfortable with a beautiful view of the bridge. Breakfast was also plentiful, and hotel is conveniently located by Haeundae beach.
Every time I am accommodated in this hotel and I am being remembered how the best looks like : service, facilities. The view is amazing and the restaurant always great. Everything is close and I always feel welcomed !
I’ve stayed in this hotel over years. It’s very clean, comfortable with lot of luxury automation in the room. Love the breakfast and staff. Beautiful view of bridge, ocean or city. Very close to Haeundae beach
Stunning view, clean rooms, lounges lighting was really amazing. We spent a very nice stay with my wife and promised to come again asap. Location is great and in summer you can enjoy bicycle ride or water exercise!
The rooms were spacious, good view and nice amenities. It is a little far from the main night life and famed fish market. Only meal I had on site was breakfast as it was included in room fee. Wonderful breakfast. All on-site restaurants are very pricey
Park Hyatt, Busan is undoubtedly one of the best hyatt properties in the world. Located in haeundae-gu, it has great scenery views of sea shore, mountains, yatches etc. It is just 10-15 min away from the famous haeundae-gu beach which is very neat and clean and near to the main market too. Very good stay and good hospitality.
The best interior designed dining place in a Hyatt hotel I ever been in.. Different, beautiful, detailed, classy... the French toast was the best!! I just wish the staff would turn down diners wearing pajamas and who didn't wash their faces or comb their hair..
The cons out of the way first: location is pretty terrible for a 'premier' hotel in the city; conference facilities are average at best; cost is generally high in that 'I know it's an expensive hotel but really?' way; and food is a bit meh. Also it feels like a residence forcibly turned into a hotel so if you are into expansive lobbies this place is lacking. Now the pros: the view of the bridge is fantastic (if you book a higher priced room, I believe, so spend more!); service is great (essentially the same level as Paradise or Westin tbh, maybe a little more attentive or intrusive, depending on how you evaluate service); TV on the bathroom wall is a nice touch; and the gym is reasonably well equipped. I made the switch from Paradise to Park Hyatt when they launched and I honestly believe that Park Hyatt is the better hotel. However, if you are a first time visitor to Busan stick to the beach.
Excellent facilities, amazing views, wonderful staff but remote-ish location. Almost like a self contained spa. I saw a few reviews here about unhelpful staff. That wasn’t my experience. They were remarkably professional.
