If you are used to your own temperature control like most of hotels, avoid this hotel. We planned to stay there for a week to visit with the family. The hotel looked ok and some things were actually nice such as bath robe. But the room was too small for our family of 3 and worst of all the temperature of the room was too hot. We walked in the room for 25.5 Celsius degree which is almost 78 degree. My husband and I tried to lower the temperature with no success. Later I learned that the hotel has central controlled push air system set at 25-26 and no air conditioning is available. We were too tired after such a long trip that we tried to sleep but it was still hard with such hot temp. Front desk team was not much helpful to make any changes for us and we ended up leaving after 1 night stay. When I asked if anyone complains of the temperature, a gentleman said most of foreigners do not like it but Koreans like it as it’s warm. I like warm weather but it’s wrong. Wasted a night of good night sleep. Besides their bidet didn’t work and there were lots of stains on the carpet. I would not recommend this place at all. Not worth the money.
This hotel is located in a complex area of city but is very fraught with many choices of dining, night life, etc.....including karaoke of course too. many good ubs, restaurants, bistros, including the one at this hotel - a German style beer garden - fantastic ! I highly recommend.
Spent 4 nights here. Enjoyed the room and the location. Easy walk to metro station. Breakfast was good each morning. If you are a fan of Pokemon, there are nine Pokestops and one gym all in the courtyard area of the hotel. There is also agood Korean restaurant across the courtyard.
I stayed there while on a business trip in Busan. Location wise, its app. 30 min to the train station and app. 40 min to the airport. Nice hotel lobby, efficient check in/out, nicely furnished hotel rooms, FOC wifi. Unfortunately we had not enough time to check out the spa. Breakfast area with buffet breakfast was OK but I expected a bit larger selection. All in all it was a nice and comfortable stay at this hotel. Reasonable priced for the services offered and recommendable
Unfortunately I was only able to spend a small amount of time in the hotel due to business. But the rooms are very comfortable and the spa is relaxing. It is located in a nice area, but it is a bit of a drive to get to Busan station if you want to catch the KTX.
This hotel is located North of Busan, thus a bit far away from the center. It is a 5-10 min taxi ride to Pusan National University. You'll get good value for your money. Breakfast and dinner buffet were good. Staff is friendly and helpful. WiFi was always reliable. You can't make a mistake with this hotel.
We stayed one night st this hotel, which is attached to the Heosimcheong spa. The hotel is on a beatific property in a happening are of Busan. We were attending a wedding, but it looked like lots to do in the area. Although fairly pricey, it did include breakfast and a coupon to the spa. Our room was nice, but it had a strong smell. Chemicals from cleaning or new carpet or something. Luckily the windows open. But the smell was very powerful. For the price, the rooms have what you'd expect, but not at a high quality level. Typical tub/shower, fancy bidet/toilet, tv and free wifi. The buffet was okay, again it had everything you'd expect and want, but nothing outstanding. I probably would not stay here again. Not because it was bad, but only because it was just okay. It is perfect though, if you are going to the spa. It's attached by a walkway and super convenient to access.
I stayed an ondol room (in Korean traditional architecture, is underfloor heating) to experience korean traditonal bed room There is no bed is an Ondol room & only 2nd floor have the ondol Rooms If you are not use to sleep without bed, do not book an ondol room However I loved the interrior of the room. Also received free spa access (hot spring) voucher.
If you are an English speaking traveller, you may find a hard time here. Most of the staffs cannot speak English, except the reception staffs. BUT, all of them have a good attitude, they want to help, and they try their best to help. Me and my wife stayed here for 5 nights. We love this place, room are clean, service are good and the breakfast is great. Sorry don't have time to visit the spa but my friend told me it is great.
I stayed here for three nights with a friend while attending a conference at Pusan National University. The room was nothing special, though the hotel's public areas were very nicely decorated. We paid a discounted conference rate, so we were very happy with the price. But the real reason to stay here is the spa, access to which is free for hotel guests. It's true that you have to be naked, but don't let that scare you! It's totally weird for the first two minutes, but after that it starts to seem normal. Men and women have separate spas. When you go to the admission desk, you get a key that works first in a locker for your shoes, and then in a larger locker for your clothes. So, stick your clothes in there and then parade around naked like everyone else. There is no chance you will end up naked in the wrong place. If you look lost, someone will point you in the right direction. The actual spa room has a number of natural spring pools of varying temperatures, from very hot to ice cold. It us great to soak there after travelling or touring all day. You can also pay extra to have a massage treatment, which you do by going upstairs and pointing to a menu in English. I had the exfoliant/massage combo and it cost $50,000 won, or just over $50 Canadian. It was a pretty unforgettable experience. Aside from the spa, the area has many restaurants, convenience stores, and so on. It's also a short cab ride (about 10,000 won) to the Beomeosa Temple in the mountains. We found the breakfast buffet tasty but pricey, but there's a bakery across the street so that was no problem.
