The Elysia Boutique Hotel exceeded our expectations and truly offered everything one hopes for when traveling. The location is perfectly set in the heart of the city — steps away from a lively market and all the energy of daily life. This was our third hotel during a 26-day trip across South Korea on a budget, stayed here for 4 nights. We love to travel often without needing to take out loans to pay for credit cards later, so value matters — and this hotel delivered. Check-in and check-out were simple and smooth. The room was spotless, with great AC, a comfortable bed and pillows, and even a warm floor — such a cozy surprise. They thoughtfully placed fresh towels and two bottles of water by the door every day, which we appreciated so much. There is also a friendly lounge on the lobby level, perfect for relaxing. The owner is incredibly kind and gracious, which added to the overall experience. I paid a little extra for a sea-view room, and it was absolutely worth it — peaceful, beautiful, and quiet at night. I truly recommend the Elysia Boutique Hotel. It made our stay special, comfortable, and memorable.

Hotel is right on Haeundae beach which was desirable. We had a room with an excellent view. However, our room was not clean, filled with sand. The towels had stains on them. The windows were all smudged and the paint was peeling off the walls. The one redeeming thing was the staff, they were very kind and very helpful.

Economic stay with a view!

Difficult to find, The hotel is a bunch of apartments in a residence building with few bars, karaoke and restaurants on the lower floors. No food, no room service, no lobby. Very economic design and room amenities. My rating would be 2* max.

It’s not friendly to a foreigner! The address of the hotel is a parking lot!!! There’s no English instruction in the parking lot. Did not know what to do and how to park because it’s a small parking lot. Car need to drive into the elevator to go up, didn’t know this operation before, never seen this before in my country! And the hotel actually is in NOT in the same building, it’s somewhere else, 100meters away. Got crazy! because I didn’t know this before arrival. No English instruction in the parking lot!!!

Well located, clean hotel

We are on older American couple who do not travel much internationally. Our check in was simple, in spite of our lack of Korean language. Our stay was comfortable. The room was spacious and all amenities were functioning. Being a glass building requires the air conditioning to work a little harder. We were worried about ours, but it did work. Toiletries were well stocked. They provided shampoo, hair conditioner, body wash, sponge, and toothbrushes. The location is PERFECT for access to touristy things like the beach AND to public transportation. The only drawback might be a foreigner issue. We had no place to set our suitcases for easy access to our things over multiple days. We made due with the chair, table, and stool provided. But that meant we had no stool for putting on our shoes at the door. Some folding luggage racks would have been helpful. From this hotel we were able to access the buses and subways for shopping, hiking, and temples. When it was time to leave, taxis were around the corner and waiting.

Nice Location but Dodgy

I chose Elysia because I wanted a hotel near Haeundae Beach, so my family could easily wash up after playing at the beach. Nice beach view from the room and easy access to street food, restaurants, bus stops and the train station. Affordable room rates. However, the hotel building gave dodgy vibes, and felt more like a hotel for lovers. Even though we had a safe trip, I would not choose the same hotel for a family trip with a young child. Room decor was nice by first impression, but the layout was not functional. Our Standard Twin Room with a double bed and single bed, did not have any working desk. It is inconvenient for someone who needed to clear some work on the laptop during vacation. The toilet area would get wet when the shower was used. We could hear and feel vibration whenever neighbouring guests opened and closed their room doors.

Overall was an prefect location on this Boutique Hotel but the room can be better like an bigger side table beside the bed and maybe can have an chair. I know this an small issue but they don't provide toothbrush.
