Commodore Hotel Busan

Lovely arcitecture and a beautiful building from the outside and from the inside at the day time and at night time. The rooms are less impressive but at the whole its a good choice in the southern side of the city.

This hotel interior design had a big WOW factor. It has very detailed korean ornament all over the place. Like taking us to ancient history of Korea where all prince and princesses come alive. The room was spacious enough, clean bedsheet and has a bathtub too.

We had a great time at the Commodore hotel in Busan. The style, big rooms, excellent service, very good breakfast and an excellent location. Visit the gardens and ask for a as higher floor as possible. Tou will enjoy the view

When we got in the room, the floor appeared not to be clean: hair and nails cut on the floor in the room, used cotton bud... I asked for the floor to be clean. But nothing has been done. I am very disapointed by the quality of the service.

This ornated traditional look hotel is well decorated with traditional korean art and paintings. The korean lantern chandelier at the lobby waiting louge is beautiful. The cluster of lanterns make it looks like an alien space ship from the movie Close Encounter of the Third Kind! Hotel is strategically positioned on the hill overlooking Busan port, giving a spectacular view of the city and bay, especially at night.

Clean and history. Many ocean view and mountain view rooms same like all hotel in the East Sea of South Korea. These privide good views. There are professional staffs who receive you as hospitality especially the Manager may be WJ LEE or similar name. It has bath tub which I like so I give a good stars also it is very personal viewpoint and biased view by private. It is near BiFF, BUSAN Tower, Jagalchi fish market, Lotte Mall . Only thing is not actually no vegetarian food near in food. You have to go bakery before go hotel. :)

This hotel is quite old, classy, outdated. But if you don't mind its age this hotel would be quite nice choice for many purposes. Hotel is located in city center near Busan port and fishery market. This is good point for business I think. It also has a indoor pool so you would not make your kids bored during stays. Unique exterior and interior it has too. I stayed in deluxe double room as shown, but it was a bit small. Foods are average... I took buffet dinner and B/F and quality of them was not too bad and not that good either.

Good value. Rooms are small and the mattress is a little lumpy. Breakfast bar is not too bad but it's not inclusive to the room. Make sure to request room and breakfast in one price. I had the corner room which face the afternoon In the summer try to avoid that if you want to stay cool. Lastly, WiFi is great. I was able to sit at a small patio bar across the street and do some work.

At best 2 or 3*. Generally a very poor showing. Not too clean, we found lipstick on glasses and cups. Lack of care Had to carry our luggage up a few steps, staff was not aware of our arrival. Rooms lack care and furniture has seen its best times with chairs with holes burnt into by prob cigarettes. We got a bit upset - Gym and Sauna are FOR MEN ONLY. No women allowed. In the Gym?? Why is that - unclear upon inspection. Not seen this in all my travel all over the world. Reception strongly pointed it out as they prob assume that western travellers ignore such "strange" rules! Avoid. I think the fate of hotel will be a demolishment and re-built one day when Busan Port Development is coming to end. Two more years max cashflow and then... history.

Just spent 9 days at this hotel, unique in its architecture, both outward and the design inside - classic Korean style. I had a spacious corner room on the 7th Floor, with the usual conveniences expected at a 4 star hotel. The buffet breakfast is a good spread, and the restaurant is reasonably priced. Come evenings, a Philippine couple sing in the lounge, accompanied by piano. They are both very talented musicians. The hotel is well managed, staff polite and smartly dressed, rooms are adequately furnished and clean, a swimming pool to exercise...... It is close to the station and about half an hour from the airport. Would certainly recommend this place.
