clean and very newly room this hotel have little 2 wings, the staff will be inform you how to go from the lobby evelator was a bit old, they noisy and quite pull in sometime, staircase is your better way (if you not have luggage)
Staffs friendly and helpful . Easy to look for this hotel , located only few minutes walk from subway station . Could get food and local snacks easily nearby . But generally the lights little dark in everywhere of this hotel , makes people feel uncomfortable if staying alone. Even when shower, need to press hard for water , may be too eco concept.
Small hotel located in downtown Busan. Surrounded by shops, restaurants, mini-marts and cafes. Yeonsan substation is just a few minutes walk away. Room is provided with basic amenities, except for a table and chair, and the only complain I have are the old and worn-out bath towels supplied. Staff at the reception were quite helpful and friendly although they could only speak a sprinkling of English. Overall, I thought the hotel was fair value for money.
I checked in this hotel since I was with a tour. The hotel lobby is at level 3 but the lift is very slow. Lift will stops at level 3, no matter what. The room is very small. There is a very strong cigarette smell in the room. The WC is not well maintained and there is even cracks on the seat. You have to be very careful when using it. In addition, the shower is even worse. If you want the water flow to be higher, the water is very very hot too. So, there is no way to really enjoy the shower. We were only given one bath towel in the room and need to request for more. The only thing which is good is it is near to the subway station. If given a choice, I would avoid this hotel.
On the plus side, it's located in a busy downtown area, it's clean, and the price is right. The cons - rooms are a bit dated and the staff are useless. They're not rude or anything, they just don't know anything. And there was no language barrier since my wife speaks Korean. It's a business hotel, so I guess they're not used to catering to tourists. We chose this place to save money and we're not sorry we did since it was clean and safe. However, the beach areas of Busan are much nicer with great views and restaurants. Next time, I'd like to stay there, even though I know it'll cost a lot more.
The name says it all. This hotel really is centrally located, right next to a major intersection and subway stop where you can easily catch 2 of Busan's subway lines. I've stayed here several times and each time my room had a great view of the city and the mountains beyond. The TV picked up about 70 channels, more than any other budget hotel I've stayed at in Asia or the States, and you can find ample restaurants and nightlife of all kinds just outside the hotel. Some guests might be put off by the yellow linoleum floors or lack of water boilers in the rooms (for drinking water, that is - the bathroom has hot running water). If all you really need is a comfortable, safe place to sleep at night, though, the Central Hotel offers an excellent value.
A friend and I spent a weekend in Busan last summer and were looking for a hotel without any unnecessary luxury and with a good connection to public transfer since we were there to explore the city. Let me share my impression of the most important factors. Price: Perfect. Nothing more needs to be said. Location: Just a few steps away from the next subway station and only a few stations away from popular places like Haeundae Beach, Busan Tower or Beomeosa temple (even though you will have to take a bus to take you up the hill to the temple) or the harbor. There were some quite suspicious establishments in the vicinity, but everyone should know that not everything about the 2nd biggest city of an economic country is fancy and beautiful. Whatever is going on there is kept inside though, so it did not bother us. Reception and staff: Hard to say, we did not see anybody else than the one guy at the reception. No red carpet for the price, but he was heplful and check-in and payment were a matter of seconds. 24h reception which is crucial for city trips. Room: Twin-bed, enough space for two people. Bathroom en suite, everything clean and functional. Small TV (Korean TV is awesome). We had a room in the 12th floor with a fantastic view of Busan nightscene. Again, no luxury, but if you are looking for that you probably won't be reading this review in the first place. Conclusion: A clear recommendation for everyone that is looking for budget hotel with a good connection to public transport. I would choose this hotel again for a short trip to beautiful (but dirty) Busan. Feel free to contact me if you have further questions.
The location was great, just a 100 yards from a major subway station. The lobby looked very nice but the man working the desk didn't speak english so we had to wait 15 mins for someone to check us in. The price was good, and the room for the most part was clean. However the hallway on our floor was not clean and very gross looking. The carpets were stained all over the place and there were random things all over the place. It looked like they use the floor for storage. It wasn't the biggest deal for us but a clean hallway would have been nice. Overall for the price it's not bad but we will try a different Hotel next time.
