Great position on the beach with lovely pool, jacuzzi & sauna on tge rof its highlight. Great place to spend tge afternoon. We booked the basic double & arrived at night. Since tge photos were taken on expedia they have built another office block about 1 metre behind. This means the standard rooms now have an opaque film on windows & v little natural light. We spoke with the reception who were v helpful & agree an upgrade reduced price to the city view front rooms. These are lovely- much bigger & have amazing vathrooms. The hotel explained they are trying to update photo's & info with all booking sites but have struggled. The hotel has a beautiful pool. Breakfast us extra but v nice & offer at weekends. So great hotel on Haeundae beach- 5 min walk to metro, main street & night markets. Highly recomned booking the city or sea view rooms for size & natural light. Thank you to staff for their help during our stay.

We loved the Baymond. Had an upper floor king - ocean view room. Room was awesome. Huge bath tub. Rooftop pool and hot tub was amazing! Staff wonderful. Highly recommend.

Nice pool area except it was closed for cleaning in the middle of the day between 12.00pm and 1.30p.m and every day i was harassed to tell the pool guy my room number

Cannot recommend! Positives: Rooftop pool has a great view, and it’s a nice place to spend time relaxing. The bed was comfortable. It’s very close to the beach. Negatives: Staff were noticeably unfriendly (exception floor 3). Our room was very dark. Thinking we’d be staying close to the beach, we did not book an ocean view room, not knowing that this would mean having a window that is frosted, essentially making the room windowless and 100% lacking in natural light. We could not flush toilet paper. The large bathroom, consisting of a sink area, a toilet room and a shower room had a total of three tiny pot lights. It was so dark that that we called maintenance thinking we had to be missing something—nope! Could not use the bathroom mirror to prepare for the day as it was far too dark, and without a window, there was no good light in the main room area either. I had to position a floor lamp behind my head or open the window the four inch crack it allowed and stand on a ledge with a hand mirror to do my makeup. Even with that much darkness, it was evident that the room needed a very good scrub. The bathroom floor, walls and shower were dirty. When I dropped a black bag on floor in the main room it came up dusty. Prepare to pay for any and all extras. It is the only hotel I have ever stayed at that did not provide complimentary coffee, not even a packet of instant! Could go on, but out of characters. It put a damper on our days in Busan.

It might not be a 5 star hotel, but the team was absolutely amazing. V stayed at property for 3 night with 3 adults in 1 room. Rooms were cleans and tidy. V chose to get our rooms made up daily. Hotel is close to Train stations and beach. V have room with ocean view, v enjoyed it If u are planning to spend most of ur time outside, I will recommend this hotel

Overall we had a good stay. The hotel is on the cozier side, not a big hotel. It was clean. The highlight is definitely the pool, our kids enjoyed it a lot. The rooftop pool was comfortable with food and drink options available on site. Only thing is no restroom at the pool. We had to go to our room. But it wasn’t a big deal as the hotel isn’t too busy so waiting on the elevators never took too long. Convenient location to restaurants and light shopping.

Positives-very clean, great location, helpful friendly reception staff. Negatives-the pool sunbeds do not look like the pictures, no cushions and very uncomfortable, the pool closes every day at 12 noon till 1.30 pm you cant drink a starbucks coffee in reception or on the rooftop, you have to take it to your room.
