Country Cabin 10 miles from Round Top
5/5 Excellent
"My partner and I loved our time at Sophie's cabin! We went out to see the beautiful 400 year old tree when we arrived that night, and even in the dim light it was overwhelming to see. I've never seen anything like it before! The cabin was very comfortable, including the bed. The hosts are so kind and left a platter of fruit and muffins in the fridge for us. The tub on the screened porch was perfect for soaks with epsom salts after hiking at Lake Somerville. The window a/c easily kept it cool inside with the milder October temperatures, but it could be an issue with 100 temps in August (just something to be aware of if you're heat sensitive!) We absolutely loved being there and I did not want to leave! We'll be back at some point! Highly recommend. "
