The Barndo was perfect for our family of 7 adults. On the main floor there was plenty of room to relax, watch tv & eat together! The bedrooms were spacious and beds were very comfortable. All of the amenities, appliances, and furniture throughout the house were like new & well maintained. The 2 outside porches & fire pit area had ample seating , providing another great space to enjoy. Chrisma was an excellent host… from checking in with us, responding to any questions we had and the time & thought she put into all the extras for guests inside & out. This was one of our best stays in Somerset !

Pleasant - Quiet - Nostalgic

For us, because we need a place to just get away with my service dog - it was ideal. She could walk around the property and lay on the porch. The kitchen was wonderful - we love cooking even when we’re taking time off, so we had everything we needed so that we didn’t have to bring things to cook with, and no need to drive anywhere to eat out. However, it is located close enough to many places to eat if we decided to do so. The spaciousness, the decorum, and overall country look and design is so pleasant. We are already discussing seeing if our family wants to have a small reunion in the fall - the house and property will be perfect for our family croquet games. Oh, the cement floors are perfect for pets - our border collie was in heaven sleeping on the cool floors when coming in from the scorching heat. All in all, we were very pleased - and your courtesy to allow us to check out later, offered us the time we needed to sleep a little later and have the time to clean up after ourselves. We have always been sticklers about leaving things the way we found them… or better!Thank you all so much!!!
Front porch for unloading and loading belongings is perfect - especially if it’s raining.
We were too tired to enjoy the Fire-Pit Grill but swing was nice with a cool breeze even though temp was near 90degrees.
My pain dog, Powpow, was in heaven with all the room to roam.
Side porch off kitchen soooo nice.
