Nice hotel close to the Cathedral, Castillo, food and bars. It is on the river and the short walk down the river path to the Cathedral is filled with cool statues and landscapes. You can also take the Camino de Santiago from the hotel to the Cathedral on the marked street path. Street is marked with clam shells the symbol of the Camino.

First-class hotel, excellent location, excellent service.

hotel has own garage, but be careful, very narrow. central location on the river

We stayed at this hotel in 2009, 2010 & this time in 2014. It WAS a fine place before; NOT NOW. Their new WiFi policy is unsatisfactory - they advertise Free WiFi, but it is deceptive...only free to access pages on the internet...to access personal email you must pay 7.50 Euros per day!. To sign onto the WiFi you must run the gauntlet of their deal with a local wireless company to even gain access: complicated, very burdensome. The front desk staff is haughty, borders on arrogant when confronted with customers who question the deception of FREE WiFi. They are the ONLY hotel during our 30 days in Spain that charges for "FREE" WiFi. The room we had was undersized and dark; we could barely even move around, and had difficulty finding items with the substandard illumination. Further, to book at this hotel two months in advance, we had to PAY IN FULL the entire amount of our two-night stay! In other words, we gave them a two month, interest-free loan! This hotel tarnishes the good name of their respected Chain. We will NEVER again book with this chain. We strongly recommend that this travel company drop the chain from its availability listings. We have never written an unfavorable review on any hotel, until our 2014 stay at this hotel in Burgos, Spain.
