Wonderful Views of River
Unique home with part log cabin, and newer addition. We enjoyed the quiet location, and relaxing on the screened porch watching local boats on the river. Dock structure was in good shape and there were lots of spot and croaker to catch. The Kellum Farm Market down the road in Wicomico Church was open for the season and had fresh seafood, local vegetables, and yummy baked goods. Host was responsive and check-in was easy. We plan to come visit again soon.

Relaxing stay with beautiful views!
Spent a wonderful weekend at this beautiful home on the river. Pulling down the drive we were amazed at the views of the river and the beautiful setting. Tucked back at the end of a quiet road it was a perfect spot to relax. The house was great and had plenty of room for our family. The kitchen had everything we needed and plenty of windows provided a great spot to hang out and enjoy the views. Especially at sunset! The host was great and answered all questions quickly and provided us everything we needed. Overall a great stay in a great spot!

Family Time
Spending time with my family (my favorite pastime) was made even better by doing it at 1111 Blackwell Wharf! Beautiful home with all the accommodations and conveniences anyone could want, plus gorgeous water views and a lovely well-maintained property. From enjoying hamburgers on the grill to making s'mores by the outside fire pit, we enjoyed every moment of our mini-weekend getaway. We also had the good fortune of beautiful weather that included time on the water and even a few fish to take home!

Wicomico Wonderland
More than just a pretty face...This home has a masterful modern addition wrapped around a tastefully appointed rustic log cabin. The environs are peaceful and scenic. Just a reasonable 15 to 20 minute drive to the waterfront town of Reedville to the East and an equidistant ride to the south will land you in the charming village of Kilmarnock. Our family's activities took advantage of paddleboarding, two nature trails, and a fair amount of feasting.

Amazing Property!!!
Guest check in was very easy. Property owner was very responsive and offer information. The house was very beautiful and extremely comfortable. Had everything you need linen and kitchen wise. Enjoyed fishing and water activities with provided kayak, canoe and paddle boards. Cell service, internet and on demand TV were great. Private dock is a very short walk from the house. Will mention the path going down to the dock is a little bit of a down grade hill but very easy to walk. The dock is great and has light for the evening. Enjoyed fire pit in the evening and grilling out. The only thing I will say as far as the pics for fisherman is that is does appear you can fish from the back yard in the photos but you can not, its a down graded hill. Absolutely LOVED this place and hope to rent again!!!

Gorgeous location!!
Gorgeous location on the Great Wicomico!! Beautiful home with both a rustic feel and lovely modern additions. We brought our boat and the cove on Cole’s Creek was well protected with deep water. Property grounds were so nice, lots of space, and gorgeous view! The owner was super supportive and very helpful with recommendations in the area. Highly recommend!!

Quick trip to the Northern Neck
Wonderful, unusual house in a great location. Beautiful inside and out. Fantastic kitchen. Primary shower shower and bathroom and bedroom were tremendous. Fantastic lawn and beautiful view of the river. Unusual house--half loghouse and half modern. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Perfect getaway
We fell in love with this house as soon as we pulled in the driveway. The house has everything you need and meticulously maintained. Our 4 teenagers spent all of their time on the dock, fishing, crabbing and paddle boarding. There were no shortage of crabs this trip, they were plentiful. We all enjoyed the picture perfect sunrises and sunset in the yard by the fire. I will definitely be coming back

Beautiful home on the river
We had a fantastic time at this beautiful home. It is in a great, quiet location with lots of fun outside activities including a canoe, kayak and 2 paddle boards with a private dock. (We brought our own life vests and fishing poles but everything else you could possibly need is already there) My family loved all of the furnishings and the attention to detail that has gone into this home. It was very clean, comfortable and roomy. Highly recommend!
