The room is huge and the bed is very comfortable. The bathroom is beautiful and modern. The pool is beautiful. The staff have a decent restaurant in the lobby. Wifi is great.

I want others to notice that most of the reviews for the Grand Raka are over four years old. We stayed here last week and were appalled. The condition of this place has really deteriorated. The staff are very kind, friendly, and accommodating but the hotel is filthy. The bed sheets are stained, they forgot to put pillow covers and the pillows are disgusting, and the bathroom is moldy. This place could really use a DEEP cleaning and renovation. When we checked in they told us the family suite was "being renovated" but in actually they just over booked it. The family suite's bathroom literally has a bucket shower. After two nights (we booked three) we had enough and moved over the The Lovina down the street. My lesson -you get what you pay for. Please do not stay here. I spent most of the time here researching other places to stay.

Super friendly, perfect location. The family villa on the roof was crumbling apart but I'm sure it will be fixed. The restaurant is good and the swimming pool as well.
