Rented a room here after a bad experience in another place. This was way above what we expected. The rooms were small but had a refrigerator, desk, comfortable bed and great bathroom. We are planning on using this Hotel for our next trip to Buenos Aires!

This hotel has a great location callao and santa fe, near metro buses, in the wealthy recoleta ....location/price is the key for this hotel, the rooms are old.......breackfast is great included....

hotel caters to Spanish speaking business types, thankfully , as an English only person, I had a Spanish speaking friend. Would stay here again, great value for the money and very convenient.

Small but safe room. Older downtown hotel close to good places to dine and shop.

My family had previously stayed at the Unique Art Elegance and enjoyed it, and wanted to stay in the Recoleta area. I booked this hotel for myself and my brother after reading the reviews which gave it more stars than the Unique Art Elegance The Wilton from the outside looked impressive, but the room was small, dark and dingy, and the bellhop actually took us to a different room after the first one had a suspicious smell. The internet was down and it took forever to get it back up; people said they would fix it and get back to us and did not so so. It was near shops and main streets but on the day I was there (Jan 1) everything was closed. The location is OK and the staff was helpful but I wish we had remained at the Unique Art Elegance, especially as it was also cheaper.

I found the staff helpful, but the buffet breakfast was positively so,so. Cold cuts and hardboiled eggs everyday, so mundane. I would have liked a change sometimes.

The hotel was no bad for few nights good location and good personnel. The hotel is clean but the bed is not comfortable the ac is noise and is hard to slep with this noise. The room and the tv are little old need an upgrade to be considered a 4 start hotel. If you are planing stay in BA for more than 3 days I will not recommend this hotel

Nothing impressive, but a comfortable place where to crash.

Great value for the money. Check out could be smoother and there really is NO free Internet. Aside from the 2 computers in the lobby. Advertising should change on this hotel on that subject to : free lobby access to Internet. Pay by the day in your room

This hotel was just what we were looking for! The hotel staff was very friendly, and the location was nice. We were within walking distance of the subte, and there were many restaurants, bars, and shop in the area. As other reviewers have said, the continental breakfast was a pretty typical continental breakfast, but we were happy to have the option. The fitness center/solarium area is somewhat small but certainly functional. Temperatures were in the 80s and 90s while we were there, but the AC in the room kept us cool. It was also nice to stay connected to home with the computers that were available to guests, too. Should we have the opportunity to go to BA again, we would definitely consider staying here.

It was pleasant, the breakfast was good.location downtown

The Wilton Hotel is in a perfect central location in the Ricoleta district of Buenos Aires. The staff is friendly and accomodating. The rooms are decent with big bathrooms, but you do get street noise. The free breakfast is below average in terms of the quality of coffee and pastries. But this is a very good bargain.

My wife and I stayed here for a week in March of 2012 and it was absolutely perfect. We checked in on a Sunday around 9am and had no issues with getting right into our room. Over the course of the week, we walked from here to Palermo Soho, Palermo Hollywood, San Telmo market, the Obelisk of Buenos Aires, and the Recoleta Cemetery. It's in the Recoleta neighborhood, but feels central to everything. It's on major central streets, so you don't have to worry about back alleys or dark hallways. There's several excellent bars and restaurants nearby, along with easy access to cabs, buses, and the subway. You can't beat the location and price. And the hotel staff could not have been more friendly. Definitely consider this as a place to stay when visiting Buenos Aires.

Close to Recoleta and Santa Fe. Our room had two full size beds, and it was bright. The room was quiet, maybe because it was at the back of the hotel. Breakfast was good, the usual pastries, fruit, juices, toasts, cereal, etc.

The hotel had a good location in Recoleta, not too far from the great cemetery., and from a Subte (subway) stop, which had good access to both downtown neighborhoods, and Palermo. The breakfast was nice, room was a good size, and the view from the rooftop terrace was great. I checked out a few hours late, and the hotel staff was nice enough to not charge me anything, although they usually charge a half night. I would recommend this hotel to any first time visitor to Buenos Aires.

Staff was really helpful and thoughtful. The hotel is nothing amazing, but is a great deal in Recoleta with a very kind staff.

Great and safe location, breakfast was good. Hotel staff was helpful. Make sure you go see a tango show and do some tours around the city.

staff friendly, limited english skills so be prepared for this. breakfast quite good, location in Recoloeta barrio good, able to find lots to do within walking distance or short cab ride, room small and in need of updating, but clean and everything in working order. i would stay here again.

near shops and beautiful neighborhood for morning run
