I felt great arriving to this centrical hotel in Buenos Aires. In the heart of the beautiful neighborhood of Recoleta, I was amazed by the warm welcome and generous staff. Will definitely come back in my nezt baas trip. Highly recommended
I enjoy my staying at the Recoleta Boutique Hotel. The service was great and exceptionnel attention was given to ensure that we were happy with the services and the aminities. the include breakfast was good and also their coffee where better then what we experience in other hotels.
The entrance to the hotel is not very imposing - the front is only 20 feet wide or so and the lobby is small. But the location is great and the room we had was clean and very large. We had a kitchen area (sink, fridge, microwave) with table and chairs and a living area with a sofa and a chair or two. The breakfast in the basement was more than sufficient to get us going each day. There is a small rooftop terrace outside the exercise room that has a great view over the famous Recoleta cemetery. The entrance to the cemetery is about 100 yards down the street - well worth a visit. There are a number of restaurants along the street. Our favorite, only two doors down, was Buller, a brewpub. They made good beer, and their outside seating area made for great people watching. It was packed every night.
We spent several days at this hotel--the staff were helpful, our room was clean, the hotel was secure--we were buzzed in whenever we returned from an outing. Go up to the top floor--wonderful view of the city, especially at dusk. Absolutely great value for your money staying at this hotel. Breakfast served on site. We don't know if they have free Wi-Fi as we go off the grid when we travel internationally. Many restaurants and shops within walking distance and we felt very safe. Famous Recoleta Cemetery was right out our front door. English-speaking guides will tour you through the cemetery and accept a donation for their time when you finish. You DO WANT a guided tour. Also, Viator tours will pick up here and we strongly recommend them whenever your travel internationally. We took a 3-hour City Tour to get the lay of the land and understand the people, culture, and history. Later we walked back to some areas to spend more time. Enjoyed outdoor cafes and we were assisted by locals when we got turned around on our walk. Loved Buenos Aires!
We stay 3 nights at Urban Suites Recoleta in April 2017. I booked the room online and check in was fast in the small lobby. They did not have a room for us right away as it was 11 am but there is a workout room on the top level where we could change clothes. The workout room also has a terrace with a jacuzzi of some sort and there is a great view to the Recoleta cemetery. When we got back to the hotel later on we got room 73. The room was bigger than I had expected with a dark wooden floor and light walls with various art works. The king-size bed towards one end of the room was fairly soft and comfortable and side tables had space enough. There was a large sofa, chair and table in the “living room” and the small kitchen contained a table with 4 chairs, a microwave oven, water boiler, small fridge etc. There was a smaller flat screen TV on the wall by the bed but we could not find a lot of English speaking channels. There were no international plugs but we did bring a converter so we were able to charge all our gadgets. The wardrobe included a few hangers and also a small safe. The bathroom was also quite large and had a toilet, bide and a shower corner. For some reason there were not many hooks to hang clothing, towels etc. There were the basic amenities like shampoo, shower gel and conditioner. When we were there it was not that hot so we didn’t get to test out the air-con capacity but it seemed to work fine. We had free wifi and it was only a matter of putting in a password the first time so this worked very well. Breakfast was in the basement and had a standard selection of bread, pastries, some sweet cereal, juice etc. There was also some scrambled eggs and bacon. I enjoyed the fruit salad and it seemed like it was homemade. It was possible to order good coffee made according to your wish – the double espresso was good. Location of the hotel is good. It is located right next to Recoleta cemetery and Recoleta mall and in the area you will find shops, restaurants and bars. All in all we were happy with our stay at this hotel and I would not hesitate to recommend it to family and friends. I might even stay there again if I travel to Buenos Aires again.
This small hotel is opposite the famous cemetery. Bars and restaurants are just next door. The hotel has only a few facilities, but our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff is helpfull. Breakfast is a buffet and is adequate. Wifi worked very good. We were so satisfied, we returned on our next stay in BA. When you book a room: those on the front are overlooking the cemetery.
Location was fantastic. Spacious room. Balcony overlooking cemetery. Water in showers was only slightly hotter than luke warm. Staff not particularly friendly but were efficient. Breakfast better than average.
I have never stayed in a hotel that calls itself boutique hotel but in reality is an hotel not capable to provide customer service. arrived on sunday and ordered room service: waited one hour and the food arrived cold. Sent the food back and they had the courage to heat it in the microwave and then returned it to me Wifi that they claim is available in all aerea was so weak that the only way to use it was to sit against the room door. Called them 3 times and it took one day: in 2017 it is ridiculous to have wifi that can have one bar signal Water in the morning was just cold Booked transport through hotel from and to company. The drivers were most of the time late and then drive like madman bevause they had to catch up on next service One of the person at the reception had the courage to lift his eyes because i complained about transports delays The only thing this hotel does timely and properly is to ask for money
We stayed here in late February. The hotel is excellently located in a good part of town and minutes away from the small but nice Recoleta Mall and within easy walking distance of a specialist furniture mall. The nearest Subte (top of the yellow line until they extend it) is around 20 minutes walk. The hotel is also directly opposite the Recoleta Cemetery, one of the world's largest necropolises and a tourist attraction in its own right. We opted NOT to have a room fronting that but apparently some people like it. :-o There is a very small pool and gym on the 10th floor (overlooking the cemetery) which we didn't use. Our room on the third floor was fine and comfortable with a small fridge and large bathroom/shower. It is a suite hotel, so there is no common area lounge etc but there is a small breakfast room in the basement which was fine and well stocked. Our only negative observation is that while the staff spoke acceptable English, there was something slightly seedy about them. Can't quite put a finger on it. Overall though, happy to recommend this hotel. They will arrange for a pick up from EZE if you ask in advance - we paid $ARS700 which we thought was reasonable. Pay the driver in cash.
I only spent 3 nights in this hotel and wish I could have stayed for longer. It has all you need when looking for a comfortable stay (both business and leisure) with rooms that feel like studio apartments, great location, tons of options to eat out, safe area to go for a walk and very friendly and helpful staff. Next time I'm in Buenos Aires, I'll be staying here for sure!
