The photos on their website were probably taken a decade ago. Everything is old now and dirty. Someone else's hair under my pillow, bathroom falling a part. Only one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom. Bedroom keys don't work and we constantly need to go down to reception to get a new one. Only 2 elevators that fit 4 ppl each, and takes an eternity to arrive. Only one staff in the lobby to assist all guests, so there's constantly a line to get assistance. Staff is rude and not helpful when you ask for information. We ordered a cab through the hotel and they failed to mention there's an additional charge for that. They exchange money in the reception and they give different rates depending on the person- I saw it happening. Only reason for the 2 stars (instead of 1) is for the shower (good pressure) and the bed and pillows were comfortable (i had a great night sleep). Breakfast is not bad considering its free. Location is OK. Near a few attractions, but there's absolutely nothing around the hotel on a 4-5 block radios (no bars, restaurants, shops, etc).

The location is fine , between Puerto Madero and San Telmo Friendly staff although understaff The room is small but clean Cable TV and AC correct Honesty breakfast The towells are a little bit wearout The price is very good Good low cost option

We stayed 3 nights. They have not refill toilet paper, soap and shampoo for 2 nights. We had to go down and pick up. Towels are old like and breakfast really poor. Elevators take years to come. Internet very slow. Anyway. If you can. Go somewhere else

The hotel cheats their guests. They sold us a room, which in spite of the description at the hotel's web site did not have air conditioning working properly. The rooms were below the promised standard and did not seem to be very clean or inviting. The hotel refused to give us our money back in spite of their agreeing with the fact, they were selling us a product, they did not deliver. They wanted to place us in another hotel of the same chain, but we did not dare accepting it. All in all a very bad experience. Our council to furture guests: go anywhere else if you can.

I travel a lot and only have one prerequisite of a hotel and that is cleanliness. This place does definitely not make the grade in this respect. Mould around the washbasin, someone else's hair in the bathtub, bed and pillow dirty with stains on them, fresh towels looking like they were used for 2 weeks before they arrived in my bathroom. The only thing which helped them get a 2nd star was the friendly staff. I hope I never have to return here.

The name of this hotel certainly exaggerates reality: it is not really artistic and uniqueness is doubtful. Rather the intensive use of the white color makes it rather dirty looking when considering the wear of the floorboards, originally of pure white color laminate. This said, you will find all you need here, free WiFi, great breakfast on the 11th floor and spacious rooms. I have some reservations about the bedding which seems to involve non breathable material making you sweat with no reason. The part of the city it is in is nice with a lot of big trees lining the streets. There is a good shuttle service to the airport. Prices are reasonable.

We were making a booking and misunderstood their Web site. We had selected a modest room and then realised that the site had selected the night of booking which was a month away from when we were actually visiting. We immediately cancelled, using their cancel button. There was no confirmation of booking the room, nor was there a confirmation of cancellation. We then proceeded to book for the correct days. Within 3 days of the cancellation a charge came through on our credit card for one night in the most expensive room in the hotel. We booked and cancelled a modest room! We spent a week at their reception trying to sort it out, and asking to speak to someone in authority, to no avail. We asked for them to provide confirmation of booking, receipts, invoices, notifications. Nothing. On our return to New Zealand we contacted our bank to try to sort it out and recoup the charge because it was a credit card entry. The bank wrote to them and got no response. Unique art madero are plain and simply thieves. Do not stay there. Do not even consider it. After a week there we subsequently stayed at much nicer hotels in Buenos Aires at much less cost.

The hotel claims four stars but in the end is only worth three stars. Rooms are small, there is lot of noise from the street and the furniture is kind of aged. Staff is friendly though the hotel does not offer all services that one would expect (e.g. they were not able to help us out with a tooth brush etc. while our luggage was stuck at an intermediary airport). Breakfast is OK - standard Argentinean with toast (no rolls) and lots of sweet stuff.

The customer service is acceptable and the location is quite sage. Just around the corner police station number 22, on top of several police car surveying the zone. No so far away from main restaurants in Puerto Madero, and quite near from main shop streets and shopping center. The only complain is the elevator quality is very poor. In high people fluency, it could last several minutes to go out/in. They need a maintenance as they are not working properly.

Stay for one night en route to Montevideo. Wanting to stay close to Puerto Madero but not wanting to pay that area prices, I settle for this hotel. It's about 4-5 blocks from the main Puerto Madero's entertaining area and very close to San Telmo. The immediate area around the hotel is unappealing, but I didn't feel unsafe. I agree with the reviewers opinion that this is a 2 to 3 star hotel. Lacking a restaurant and other facilities it shouldn't claim to be a 4 stars hotel. Room decor and furniture are outdated, as well as the bathroom facilities. It is clean, though and for just one night is ok. For longer stays I would look elsewhere
