A top notch boutique hotel in Buenos Aires. Prior to our arrival I had done some on-line research and the Tango de Mayo was well rated. This hotel did not disappoint! The room was great, we had a good meals at the hotel restaurant, the staff was very helpful knowledgeable and friendly. The hotel also has a very nice rooftop bar, a great place to spend and late summer evening. Hats off to the hotel staff for contacting us quickly when we accidentally left property in the room safe after check-out.

We enjoyed staying at the Tango de Mayo hotel. The staff, especially the desk staff, was helpful and patiently answered our many questions. The breakfast was excellent. The rooftop space was a nice surprise! The hotel was convenient to walk to the city attractions and riverfront. The only drawback was the surrounding area.We were told not to walk around after dark but it seemed to be safe during the day.

Tango de Mayo Hotel is a quaint hotel in a scenic part of town, near shops and restaurants. The hotel's restaurant has great food at good prices. The rooftop bar area is great, quiet with great views of the cupola buildings in the area. During our Argentina trip, we stayed at three different hotels in Buenos Aires; we would pick this one as our favorite.

Everything was good, but many rooms are quite loud. Better windows would be favourable.

Amazing decor and special touches. Tango feel! Metal rose drawer knobs and tango footwork rug in the room. Super comfortable bed. Striped black & white curtains to the high ceiling. Amazing full breakfast!

The room was comfortable and spacious. The breakfast is average.

The young lady at the front desk was EXCELLENT. Very helpful with explanations and volunteered to make a phone call FOR us so that nothing was lost in the translation from English to Spanish. We found the location to be perfect, as we could walk to the free City Tours.

Wonderful experience in rooms and common areas with an historical decoration

Very clean, and convenient to everything. The continental breakfast is decent.

Very helpful staff, speak English, great breakfast and srcurity 24/7

I ran into some problems in Buenos Aires which required intervention by way of translations and advice. The young people at the reception desk were angels sent from heaven. I will never forget Marina ,Costanza ,Nicole and Jose. I would recommend this hotel mostly because of the superior personal qualities of its staff.
