Sheraton Libertador Hotel

Staff is very slow. Room height / clearance is very low. Old hotel. Needs renovation. Breakfast is strictly okay . Sharon at the front desk was the best of all ... she was very helpful and courteous. Location is also okay ...

The location is excelent for visitors in Buenos Aires that are for turism, the checkin is pretty fast and they have a good front desk, the breakfast it´s a little expencive and internet price is OK if it´s not included in you reservation. The acustic in the room is terrible it´s possible to listen everything that happens in the next room, the air conditioner works fine and the room is clean, the bed is too soft for my opinion. I recommend if you are looking for a good location in Buenos Aires.

The location couldn't be beat - one block away from pedestrian street Florida, 10 minute walk to Teatro Colon, ten minutes to the ferry quay, and surrounded by great restaurants and cafes. We walked nearly everywhere for both business and pleasure! The hotel itself was a bit of a let-down. The staff were friendly and professional, but the hotel is showing it's age. The rooms were especially dark - lighting, windows, closets. It was comfortable enough for sleeping, however the room didn't invite you to stay longer and relax, which is disappointing after a long flight from the US and a long drive from the airport.

After a long flight, I really appreciated my room being ready in the morning for early check-in. I was also granted access to the executive lounge as a platinum member which was another plus. Good location, able to walk to all of the sites! Thanks for great stay

The Sheraton was in a good location about10 mins walk to the market, which has a lot to see and many eating places. The room was quite spacious and bathroom lovely . The one criticism I have is that I wish there was a large mirror outside to put on makeup for more females sharing the room. The only mirror was in the bathroom.

Nice hotel, decor quite old (as most Sheratons are) but comfortable and ok. Staff very friendly, breakfast was fine and the location convenient for shops etc. Nice bar and open areas to eat in the hotel foyer. The club lounge was quite basic as compared to others.

The hotel was very short on staff. The ones on the premises very friendly but there is so much they can do. We were in a preferred floor as a Starwood gold member. Breakfast was included but very poor selection The carpet in the room was stained, and the furniture old and scratched, The room was very small and the washroom didn't have a hand shower. The location is good during the day but not safe to walk around at night. The swimming pool area at the rooftop was horrible. Very disappointed

This hotel is very well situated, close to the shops (main Florida street), main squares and waterfront. The Staff were really friendly and helpful. The main lobby has free lemon water all day and pastries in the morning, and also contains a bar area which is nice. The drinks are on the more pricey side but came with small canapés and nuts, and the barman was great. Breakfast was especially nice but didn't try the restaurant, given so close to lots of other options. My room was clean and spacious. The only downside was the wifi was only free in the lobby (capped at 2hrs) and you have to pay for it elsewhere in the hotel. The 'Galeria Pacifico' was one block away, where we'd been advised to change money, but be warned if you try and exchange dollars there, they only take notes of $50 and $100. We went to another exchange, which would accept $20 but not $10 and then ran out of pesos!

Me: Avid traveler. Diamond in Delta, Platinum in Marriott and Sheraton, Silver in United Group: 1 female and 2 males (including me) Female stayed in single room. The guys stayed in a twin room (two twin beds) Would I stay here again: Definitely. No doubt. Pros: Cleanliness: Very clean. Met my expectations for a Sheraton. No issues at all. Location: In general terms it is a great location. But it depends on what do you want. BA is huge, therefore you have to think about the distances. The hotel is 20mins walking to El Obelisco and a 20min cab ride to Palermo and Recoleta. On the other hand, there is a huge mall and a nice market 2 blocks away. Very convenient. Quality of Beds: Comfortable beds. No issues Customer service: Excellent. I can't remember his name, but the main host was extremely helpful and accommodating. They extended my check out to 4pm and I was able to get a long rest after a long night of salsa dancing. Breakfast: Did not eat at the hotel. Again, did not wake up in time due to a long evening lol. Safety: No concerns at all. Like in any major city, the surroundings areas can be intimidating, but you just have to be aware of your surroundings and don't walk alone at night. Hotel in general is really nice. It definitely met my expectations for a Sheraton. The bar/restaurant has a good selection. Their fruit salad was amazing. Cons: Can't think about any. Overall: 4.5 stars. Great hotel with good location and great/new amenities. No complaints at all. Keep up the good work.

This is just the right place to stay. It is in the heart of the city. Walking distance from almost anything you want. I suggest the upgrade for the rooms. It was worth it. Didn't think I would want it or use it when I checked in, but was worth every penny. Good food, great service.
