Park Silver Obelisco Hotel

A very well located hotel within the core of Buenos Aires with reasonable rooms a nice lobby very good attention and Starbucks next door. My favourite choice for a overnight, location is superb and attention too.

Friendly staff, clean and well located. But this is about it. This hotel does not offer anything else. I got assigned a very dark room basically without window or sunlight. The wifi reception in the room is poor at best. The staff was uncooperative to my request of getting a better accommodation. The buffet in the morning is poor to my standards. No warm food (no eggs, no nothing. Argentinian style breakfast), only filtered coffee, a poor selection of industrial cheese and ham, and 4 types of industrial pastry and white bread. Not even a bit of ambient music in the dining room. I'm pretty sure you can find better value for your money.

Great location! Amazing view from the balcony, in front of the Obelisco with easy access to everywhere, you can easily walk to Recoleta, Puerto Madero and several atractions and monuments. It is safe to walk, lots of police around. Several options of restaurantes and bars. It's just in the city centre. Friendly and helpful staff! The rooms are clean with comfortable beds, cable TV, Wi-Fi included and a large bathroom with great shower. The breakfast is average, definitely worth it. I totally recomend the Park Silver Obelisco Hotel in Buenos Aires.

We spent one night here after a cruise. Great downtown location, very friendly and helpful staff, great price. We paid extra for included breakfast, which is definitely worth it. Excellent selection of foods.

Absolutely great location! It's just in the city centre, easy to get there from the airport (an airbus for 180 pesos stops just opposite to the hotel)! Friendly staff! Clean rooms with comfortable beds and nice bathroom. Amazing view...will definitely book the same hotel when we're back

The room was comfortable, with a large washroom, clean, and equipped with everything you may need. The front desk crew is extremely helpful and nice. The breakfast is nice, Argentinean style (no eggs or bacon), although when you smell those freshly baked croissants you forget about everything else. Now, let's talk about the location: just across the Obelisco, with super easy commute to everywhere, in a somewhat safe area (not sure if there is any area in Buenos Aires that qualifies as 'safe', and I know this because I was born and raised in Buenos Aires, moving to Canada 20 years ago). Hope this helps :-)

Good Service and view was very good as its center of BA. easy to access near by small hotels and shopping complex. Its just a walkable to reach city tour bus station. Hotel staff was good and co-operative.

I really loved this hotel. They upgraded me to a room with city view. They have black out curtains, big bathrooms, and comfy beds. The staff was really friendly and eager to help. Probably the best staff, del prado inn in cusco, peru coming in second. I've traveled to so many countries and am impressed with south america in general.

This hotel is centrally located and very easy to navigate around. While in the city it is hard to get lost, because you can always head towards the Obelisco to find the hotel. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Everyone spoke English when needed. Lots to eat and easy transport options near by. The only city tour bus company office is a ten minute walk away, which is nice. It was busy at night but beautiful. Not loud enough to disturb your sleep and if you are sensitive to lights the curtains do a good job blocking that out. Wifi was reliable and all amenities were as stated. The rooms are a bit small but comfortable. I would definitely stay here again!

My wife and I stayed here during a short vacation to Buenos Aires. It is about half block from the Obelisk on 9 de Julio avenue and it is centrally located as a base for excisions. There are many theaters near by and two blocks from the Teatro Colon and the Tango Porteño. Many, many great restaurants and shops near by. We were there over Christmas and had a great time. Staff is awesome and speaks English. This is my second stay there.
