This is a gorgeous hotel and the staff here are equally impeccable! Very easy walk or drive to most sites in the city. Food was delicious, especially the breakfast buffet. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
This remains one of my favorite hotels. Great vibe. Great spaces. Great art. The location is also good if you're not familiar with traveling to Buenos Aires and want a safe well appointed area. Easy walk to downtown and taxi to Palermo area.
There are two main buildings, the Palace side and the modern side. Most people prefer the former, apparently but we chose to stay in the modern side. Our suite was large, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was alright. Do not eat at their grille. The food was simply disappointing. Location is great, quiet and in a good neighbourhood but not far from where you need to go as a tourist.
Based on 2 friends recommendations we lunched here today. Lived up to every expectation. $1900 Pesos for two but everything was perfection. Pumpkin salad with poached chicken & arugula then lemon-lime dessert with white chocolate crumble. Staff was attentive but not stuffy. You truest feel like a royal dining at a palace. DO NOT MISS THIS EXPERIENCE!!!!
Where to start... This hotel is a beautiful mix of the old palace and the new tower. With Hyatt platinum, we were upgraded to a tower room with a view of the gardens and palace, a beautiful view. The palace rooms are more stylized and older, but the view from the newer towers can't be beat. Our room was ready for an early arrival, which is amazing and was a godsend after a miserable redeye. The staff, especially on the morning of our checkin, was so warm, welcoming and helpful, truly passionate about service and their city. An expensive hotel but worth it for the view, service, comfort and location, the latter of which is the gorgeous and safe recoleta area. Beautiful art gallery is on site and the whisky and cigar bar has a great collection of both. Restaurants are both very good.
Felt like home - the staff seemed to worry and take care of me. Met wonderful people at the Oak Bar and they make a beautiful vanilla oak cocktail. Also loved my room for an afternoon siesta. I would definitely return.
I've stayed at the four seasons, the hub porteno and the park hyatt in Buenos Aires. I do like the four seasons and their concierge is possibly the best there is but overall the park hyatt is the best. The rooms are a tad too modern for my liking but very comfortable. The housekeeping is immaculate and never forgets to replace toiletries which is something that is usually overlooked in most hotels. I love having afternoon tea at the palace side and the scones are better than the ones I have in England. What I love most is the location. Walking distance to most high end shopping. Buenos Aires can be suffocating at times but the park in the hotel is calming and provides a haven from the hustle and bustle outside. I doubt anyone would be disappointed with their stay here.
The staff was incredible--very helpful and service oriented. The shower was great and we always had clean towels and a clean room. The location was great. Breakfast was very good and it was gorgeous to sit outside on the balcony of the "palace". Everything was perfect!
Impecable rooms, profesión staff, great food.If you want a unique experience this is the place to stay. The old world and new world together delivered in a unique way. One of my favorite places to stay in the world.
We just had a great three night stay at the Park Hyatt. We were fortunate and got an unexpected upgrade to the old palace section but the regular rooms looked nice as well. Room was great and while the chairs in the suite weren't the most comfortable, the extra space was great and the bathroom was wonderful. Breakfast was included in our rate and was a great setting in the dining room or even better the gardens. One of our favorites was drinks on the terrace of the old palace part of the hotel overlooking the gardens. The staff was very professional, helpful and accommodating (concierge even put in a special dietary request at one restaurant without an issue). My only complaint, and it's a MINOR one is the service wasn't the warmest. Most luxury hotels we've stayed at seem to recognize you a bit, even if not by name, which wasn't the case here. Great place to stay in BA. We also considered the Four Seasons and frequented their bar as it was lively and fun, but like the quieter location of the Park Hyatt.
