This hotel is a good deal in terms of the cost, location, amenities, level of luxury, cleanliness and staff attentiveness. The staff is cheerful and was helpful to me in arranging for special transportation that I requested. They supplied sight seeing tips and directions that I asked for. I didn't use room service a lot, but when I did, it was prompt and tasty. I appreciated my stay there and have no complaints.
The hotel needs to be renovated. The rooms only look good on pictures, but look like they have not seen any maintenance since 20 years. The whole bathroom installations work poorly and the water in the shower was not adjustable to a normal temperature.
What marks this hotel as completely excellent is the service. I stay in countless hotels throughout the world but rarely, if ever, have I encountered such a great staff. Every single person I encountered was kind, friendly, and helpful in every way imaginable. I had an accident and ended up having to keep my foot elevated and iced for an entire day, and the staff accommodated me with such concern and ease that I couldn't have asked for better care. From helping me hobble around to providing extra cushions to elevate my foot to continuously bringing bags of ice, from getting personal items I needed from my room to helping me organize a working space for the day, I honestly felt like I had a family taking care of me. The accommodation is nice enough, although my room was rather small (the staff did offer to move me after the second night). The bed was comfortable for sleeping and the bathroom functioned well (although the shower head is for VERY TALL people). The desk is tiny -- but it fits a computer, lamp, and has the one outlet in the room. Nice espresso machine and teapot. Breakfast was appealingly presented, and eggs are ordered fresh and hot. Location is excellent and particularly useful for where I needed to be. Public transportation is very close by, and it's easy to walk to many places., But trust me -- it's all about service. When you are visiting a city you don't know, having such wonderful service makes everything worthwhile.
We stayed a couple of days and we even went to a concert to Luna Park Stadium. The staff was super nice and they even helped with restaurants reservations ! We have to come back soon ! You cant miss the Jousten experience !!!
Spent a few days in the city, couldn't have asked for better service, accessibility or location of hotel! All the employees were friendly and made me feel welcome. Would love to come back and stay again!
Although the room are tiny with limited space, the room have all the amenities. Staff is very friendly but ask early for an iron because they are difficult to get. Overall it's an ok hotel and for business purpose it works good for a fair price. I was extremely impressed with the wifi quality!
Excellent location, Excellent service in all aspects, room very comfortable with very nice access to internet service. Service and food at the restaurant also very good. You feel like if you are at home. 100% recommended not only for business travel but for also tourism stay.
Service, hospitality, cleanliness, all were very good. One shortcoming was the shower that had insufficient pressure (somewhat weak stream), spill/splash on the floor each time, and few times water temperature less than adequate (nor warm enough)
Excellent location. Rooms with lots of space and good bathrooms. Staff very helpful and friendly. Only criticism was the stair main entrance! Lifting and carrying bulky luggage is a real problem when climbing that stair ...
I stayed here whilst in Buenos Aires on business at the end of March. I was attending a conference at the Hilton Puerto Madero but prices there were very expensive. Some things to note - we were allowed to check in earlier than usual, the staff were very helpful after our 14 hours on a plane. We stayed on the 4th floor, I had a room which faced the inner section of the building so didn't really have much daylight. The shower - it broke the first time I used it, staff repaired it very quickly with a new hose, however the distinct lack of hot water was annoying to say the least. I almost scalded myself twice as the temperature swings from hot to VERY HOT. Air conditioning - definitely not 100%, one night I woke up soaking with sweat because it was kicking out heat when set on minimum! Subway noise - this didn't annoy me but may be problematic for others - you can hear every train pass by under the building! Breakfast - a good offering, but the coffee from the machine was not so good. Juice could be fresh rather than from cheap and nasty concentrate. The room itself was nicely presented and bed comfortable, all that was needed for my whistle stop tour. Next time I will consider another hotel before booking this. 3 stars as it was average for the price.
