This Hotel is a good 4* Hotel at a very good location. Friendly staff and NH-like equipement of the room. But pay attention to the room you get, because there are "light-shaft" rooms without any light! The possibilities of the Hotel-Bar are limitied; there is, e.g., no Gin available for a Gin-tonic.
My wife and i had the worst experience ever. Of all the places we have traveled this is the worst. Reception has no answers to basic questions. No airport shuddle. AC not working properly. We got the heck out of there the next day!!
The rooms were clean, staff friendly and helpful but the 3rd floor smelled like a toilet was leaking. Fortunately we did not experience this in the rooms. The property is a bit outdated and the location is excellent within walking distance of shopping and eating.
The location is nice but this is definitely an older property that was refurbished on a budget. The air conditioning during the summer barely keeps the room cool. This is exasperated by the environmental controls which turns off all lights and air conditioning when you leave the room. It then takes hours once you return to cool down the room to a reasonable temperature.
the hotel is very conveniently located, next to the puerto, the shopping area and the historic centre. (At least some) rooms are noisy due to the heavy traffic in front of the hotel. The bed was comfortable. TV channels exclusively in Spanish.
Stayed here for two weeks on a recent work trip. The staff at the hotel were all exceptionally helpful and friendly, top marks to the staff! The rooms were comfortable, clean and a good size. There is a lot of noise though as it is located on a busy main road. It dies off in the depth of the night but no getting around the noise. The wifi was very poor and didn't work well most of the time which was frustrating. The laundry was eye wateringly expensive. Breakfast was fairly good but did get monotonous after a few weeks. Really good fruit selection but coffee was poor. Overall a pretty good stay and very close to Puerto Madero, Centro, San Telmo and the Busquebus terminal.
The staff working on the reception were extremely friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was very clean and the room very comfortable. The coffee and tea making facility is a good idea. I would always choose NH Collection as I know the service quality standards are very high.
NH Jousten in located at a very busy crossroads, therefore the place is quite noisy in general. Further, windows may not close tighly, adding some noise. Further, you can hear a water-pump starting up every few minutes. Breakfast is regular, however facilities are a bit chaotic: If a toaster breaks, it will take 2 days to replace it.
Paid the bill nearly a month in advance through a travel agency but, their system only "saw" our reservations 5 days before the check in. Had to call both the travel agency and the hotel (long distance) several times until the reservation finally was confirmed. Breakfast is great and service is the best. The room was clean and nice. I was staying at the same floor as the gym (first floor) and that was a problem when somebody used the treadmill. It wasn't nice early in the morning, because the noise would wake me up. Btw, the gym was rather small. My brother stayed in the 4th floor and wifi signal was better there. Great place to stay when you have a concert at the Luna Park Stadium nearby. Very close to Puerto Madero and it's restaurants and bars. Subway station Leandro N. Alem is also nearby and can connect You with every tourist site in town within minutes. You can hear and sense the subway running under the hotel but that wasn't an issue to me. Personal was superb!!! Everyone! Thank You guys! I will be coming back, I recommend it
This hotel is a good deal in terms of the cost, location, amenities, level of luxury, cleanliness and staff attentiveness. The staff is cheerful and was helpful to me in arranging for special transportation that I requested. They supplied sight seeing tips and directions that I asked for. I didn't use room service a lot, but when I did, it was prompt and tasty. I appreciated my stay there and have no complaints.
