NH Buenos Aires Tango4.0 out of 5.0

Stayed at the NH Tango twice during the month of August. The location is exceptional for exploring Buenos Aires on foot, being within walking distance (if you don't mind walking 30 min or so, and you really shouldn't in this beautiful town) from most (if not all) of the thinks you'd want to see in the city during a short (say week-long visit). This includes all the downtown, Recoleta, Puerto Madero, the area of Palermo near Recoleta (and MALBA), the Museum of Decorative Art, most of San Telmo, etc. The rooms are modern and super clean (the TV disguised under a semitransparent mirror is a neat trick), and the breakfast buffet (you should try to get a rate that includes it) was varied and plentiful. One of the things that we worried about was noise (after all, the "superior" rooms face 9 de Julio avenue, with its 18 lanes of non-stop traffic). I am happy to report that noise not an issue at all, the rooms are extremely well soundproofed and have double-glazed windows. I am a light sleeper and had no problems whatsoever. A special thank you note to the hotel personnel, particularly to Camila and Alejandro at the reception, who have helped us on multiple occasions. I would give this hotel 6 stars if I could. Well done, and keep up the excellent work!
The hotel staff Juan refused to change my room to another level. He put me in a front room with all the traffic and noise disturbing me all day all night! Unacceptable!!! Crap hotel with no good sound proof windows. Don't waste your money here.
one feels like the stuff is paying special attention to your needs and requests. Very convenient location. in the quite decent buffet breakfast the cut up hot dogs next to the eggs should be eliminated. If the"American" breakfast. has to be emulated, in Argentina there are good and cheap small linked sausage that would give the right message.
The hotel has a perfect location to explore BA. The room was perfect, very lightly, modern bathroom (seperated toilet and shower) and a big bed! The staff is nice and helpful. We got a welcome gift which was very nice. Breakfast is decent, but overrated.
I have stayed there for many days. I have stayed in other hotels at the same location within the same price range and quality. NH Tango Hotel is the best comparing to others. It has better furnitures, noise canceling building, breakfast quality and service. I would like to give special thanks for Sebastian (front office), Ezequiel and Alejandra. (restaurant) They were the ones that make add-in value for hotel and reasons for me choosing to stay there. They have treated me as a guest and like a member of a family.
Just one more night in Buenos Aires before flying back home (I thought). Company booked the NH Tango. Location is great, right on the Av. 9 de Julio, next to the Obelico, close to Av. Corrientes, so many major must see in Buenos Aires. Already going there and seeing the Obelico in the night was quite impressive. Hotel is used by many airlines as well, so check in was not really fast. Entrance is small, almost overlooked. Building has many corridors and corners to pass until you make it to the room. At least for my room, no view except a grey wall in front, which I do not mind, was not expecting anything. I can truly say that none of the rooms (not even in Japan!) I ever stayed in were smaller. Worst of it was the beds (two single beds), mattress very soft and it felt I hang down to the ground - stayed there luckily only one night. Many other options in the area.
Great location, modern hotel with helpful staff. The rooms are ample and very clean. Same goes for the bathrooms (in the rooms and also public areas). The only drawback is that there is no parking area for the taxis.
The NH-Tango is a good hotel close to the famous obelisk. Good things: Nice Staff, Central Location, really good breakfast, general Power sockets beside the bed works for several different plugs Improvable: Renovation should be executed, it seems that last modernisation is several years ago. Beside the normal usage wear, my shower in 9th floor could have had more power, the toilet flush lost always its button - I had to fix it twice. The air desodorante in the entrance hall with strong fragrance of flowers is very strong and for me no pleasure at all. I think you might find better places for same money, but if you book here, you will definitive be in good hands as well.
Hotel was clean, stuff was very helpful and friendly. The location is great as it is in walking distance from all the center's attractions. The breakfast was good. Value for money. Cozy and not too big so makes you feel good!
