The NH Buenos Aires is located on 9 de Julio, the main avenue through the heart of Buenos Aires. It's within walking distance to many attractions and historical sites. The room was on the small side, but the bed was comfortable and everything was quiet. It would have been nice to have an English-speaking channel on the TV but was told that it was because of the cable operator, not the hotel. The hotel offers a good breakfast buffet. The front desk staff is friendly and courteous. I stayed at a NH hotel in London two years and had a great visit so this is a chain I recommend.
Although in a convenient location, the one issue I had with the hotel is the amount of traffic noise that could be heard even on level 9. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Their English was good.
Perfect stay. The location is downtown 2 blocks away from the obelisk. The rooms were immaculate. Breakfast (included) was abundant and flat. It seems to be a signature breakfast everywhere NH hotels. Something that could improve is the bar pricing. I never saw anyone have a drink in my seven day stay. No wonder, alcoholic beverages are way too expensive.
We stayed in the HN Buenos Aires 9 de Julio hotel in early April 2016. The hotel is exceptionally well placed in the center of the busy bustling city with shopping, restaurants and sightseeing opportunities all a close bye. The hotel was comfortable, quiet inside with a fine breakfast. The staff were especially attentive and I can not talk highly enough of the reception staff, who helped us resolve many of the little problems visiting a new city when only speaking the basics of the language. Would certainly return.
Our stay was booked to take place on completion of a cruise from Santiago, Chile to Buenos Aires via Cape Horn - NH BA 9 de Julio did it for us. A great location and a comfortable room (better than the cabin on the cruise liner!!)
What's up with that? No A/C?!?!?!? Why is this even allowed these days. Hotel is Ok - nothing fancy but located at a good location. Internet connection was good. However, I could not sleep well at night without an AC.
Very good breakfast, but a little bit expensive as all Buenos Aires Hotels. The staff is very friendly, but equipments of the gim was broken. The room is large, but the bed quality is not good. Necessary change.
This is a (presumably) low cost hotel, but well positioned near the centre of the capital. Many attractions are within walking distance. My wife and I were part of a cruise holiday party taking a 2-day repos before joining the ship. I wouldn't say this was a place where you would particularly want to eat and drink, or if you did, it would be nothing special. But I think that this is not what this hotel is about. The staff were reasonably efficient, the food was adequate and the room was small but adequately comfortable. We were disappointed though that there was no drinking water or tea/coffee facilities in the room. Otherwise - OK!
The hotel is located in the midst of most of the tourist attractions, easy walk to the theatre district and a slightly longer stroll to the port side dining. The staff are all great and very tolerant of our lack of ability to communicate in any other language than english, Comfortable A/C rooms with reasonable noise insulation from both the busy street and adjoining rooms The pool /sauna are a great place to unwind at the end of the day and being on the roof allow a good view of the city, there is also a sparsely equipped gym which is adequate for a bit of exercise if you don't feel you have done enough during your day. A safe in the room is available for valubles to be stored although I left my lap top computer out for the entire stay with no issue and the wifi was good enough to allow streaming of movies, Netflix etc Being on the main drag made it easy to find when out walking in the city and the local taxi service all seemed to know how to get there when showed the name on a smart phone, very handy when you don't have the skill to be multi lingual. I would recommend this hotel for any age group wanting a comfortable centrally located place to stay in Beunos Aires
Excellent location in the centre of the city on the main bus route, but very hectic nearby as it is next to the colomn which is where nearly every weekday there is a protest against something.weekends off Rooms are ok breakfast is good, rooftop pool are real bonus . Service very good staff very helpful and friendly
