I am currently here. Room is very nice and very clean. Wifi works great, can even watch Netflix! Location is great; close to many things in BA. Breakfast buffet is good but could use more hot items. I have been to BA four times and this is my favorite hotel so far. Great price too!
We stayed at this NH hotel twice and we were pleased on both occasions. The rooms were well appointed and comfortable. The roof top pool offered an opportunity to relax and the view was great. The buffet breakfast had plenty of choice. The front desk staff were helpful and friendly. Restaurants, western union and grocery stores were all within walking distance. I would definitely stay here again.
We checked in last night. This hotel is beautiful. The staff was very friendly to us and we were very tired and hungry after our long flight, so they quickly arranged our room and took us to there. They offered us water and a light snack. The room has a beautiful view and is very clean. The sheets are extremely white. I love when a hotel prides itself in cleanliness. I recommend staying here. This hotel is top of quality.
Buenos Aires was the first stop in our Patagonia trip and the choice of this property for our five night stay turned out be a very pleasant beginning. Located on the main street in the centre of this beautiful city, the hotel offers standard NH fare. Smooth check-in, good-size room, clean linen, proper air conditioning and wifi, everything was of acceptable standard. Buffet breakfast, though with a limited menu, was okay. So was the restaurant and room service. Several restaurants of various types, supermarket, Tango show, money exchange facility, all available just a few paces away. Overall, a very nice place to stay in downtown Buenos Aires. Will surely return on a future visit.
We encountered this hotel unexpectedly as our late flight was cancelled and the airline sent us for the night. They were extremely helpful during a difficult time, helping with keeping the restaurant open late to feed us, assisting with transport problems, and arranging late checkout. The property itself is very comfortable with large rooms, quiet ambience, great central location in a walkable city yet very close to public transport. The roof terrace is also very pleasant although not reached by elevator. Some updating such as carpeting would be a good addition but overall we would not hesitate to return.
We stayed for one night as part of a cruise package. This is a nicely appointed hotel ideally situated in town near to the famous Opera House (Teatro Colon) and Obelisk (The Obelisco de Buenos Aires). We had a clean spacious room with a comfortable Queen size double bed. Towels and bedding were fresh and everything was clean and tidy. It has a nice rooftop terrace offering a great views with a small pool and seating area. In the evening we ate at the hotel restaurant. The menu was somewhat limited but the food was ok and not overly priced. Staff were friendly and efficient and the language issue is generally ok.
It's a very nice hotel right in the center. The view from the roof top is great, but only open until 9pm. It would be nice if it would stay open longer. The restaurant closes at 11pm, so for late arrival guest there is only the mini bar. The front desk was very helpful and breakfast is very nice displayed and always fresh supplied.
The NH Hotel Buenos Aires 9 de Julio is in a good location . A easy walk to good restaurants and banks. Good for sightseeing ,very small pool like a Jacuzzi. Staff was very helpful with information. Overall nice hotel at the right price
The hotel is located in downtown Buenos Aires on a very large road. Traffic however was not too load or distracting in the room. The surrounding area is clean and relatively safe with the opera house located about 5 mins walk from this hotel. The hotel service was very good. The rooms were large, clean and comfortable (although I have to admit that the person who designed the room had a fixation for light switches). All in all a very comfortable stay. Recommended.
The hotel is on the busiest and largest street in the world so it was often loud. It was convenient located and it had a pool and gym but felt the gym was tiny and therefor not appealing to use and swimming pool did not have lots of seats so was often too busy to lay outside unless coming early.
