NH Buenos Aires 9 de Julio

9 de Julio is a typical NH hotel, meaning good rooms, good breakfast and good position. This one in Buenos Aires has a very nice view in front side with 9 De Julio boulevard. The bed is very comfortable but if the room is on boulevard side is pretty noisy.

We stayed here for 2 nights with our tour group. Room was as expected, clean and good sized. Never did figure out which switch controlled which lights. Buffet breakfast was mediocre, eggs when available were runny and coffee cups for Americans were 1/2 sized. Safety was not a concern. Roof top lounge was a nice place for a nightcap we brought up.

The staff was very helpful and friendly and the rooms were kept very clean. The location is very ideal for exploring Buenos Aires. Transportation around the hotel is great and a good central point close to the Obelisco which is great for new travelers.

I went to B.A. in July and it was a good surprise to stay at NH 9 de julio. The service was good, with very polite staff. The breakfast had an international table, with several flavours and selection of pastries, fresh juices and other beverages as well. The room was spacious and although it seemed a little dated, the bed as good for rest and the shower had just the right pressure. I recommend the stay and would stay there again.

Just two blocks from the Obelisk, NH 9 de julio is a smart and convenient place to organise business meetings. The staff is ever helpful and friendly and the rooms are spacious and comfy. I have made two meetings here in the last two months and I am very satisfied with the results.

The lobby is ok and always clean and the service is perfect. Unfortunately, the food is totally out of range. Soups come to the table cold (and it was a pumpkin soup, not a gaspacho), the raviolis were awful, melt down, cold and sticky. 1 big ravioli because the pasta was totally melt down or over cooked in the microwave. I've tried rib eyes once and was also terrible, overcooked and cold. It seems that the kitchen is too busy always or very far and food can't arrive hot. It deserves an urgent improvement. The exception is the dessert, all of them are good and delicious but who wants to go to a restaurant just for a dessert?

The NH Buenos Aires is located on 9 de Julio, the main avenue through the heart of Buenos Aires. It's within walking distance to many attractions and historical sites. The room was on the small side, but the bed was comfortable and everything was quiet. It would have been nice to have an English-speaking channel on the TV but was told that it was because of the cable operator, not the hotel. The hotel offers a good breakfast buffet. The front desk staff is friendly and courteous. I stayed at a NH hotel in London two years and had a great visit so this is a chain I recommend.

Although in a convenient location, the one issue I had with the hotel is the amount of traffic noise that could be heard even on level 9. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Their English was good.

Perfect stay. The location is downtown 2 blocks away from the obelisk. The rooms were immaculate. Breakfast (included) was abundant and flat. It seems to be a signature breakfast everywhere NH hotels. Something that could improve is the bar pricing. I never saw anyone have a drink in my seven day stay. No wonder, alcoholic beverages are way too expensive.

We stayed in the HN Buenos Aires 9 de Julio hotel in early April 2016. The hotel is exceptionally well placed in the center of the busy bustling city with shopping, restaurants and sightseeing opportunities all a close bye. The hotel was comfortable, quiet inside with a fine breakfast. The staff were especially attentive and I can not talk highly enough of the reception staff, who helped us resolve many of the little problems visiting a new city when only speaking the basics of the language. Would certainly return.
