Close to port for me I was taking a cruise, this was important.

I took the deluxe room which was ok, but not superb as I had expected from a renowned hotel chain. The location was really good because its near la Florida where you have lots of shops as well as walking distance from Puerto Madero. The hotel staff is friendly and they help you when you ask them anything (they helped us reservating the Tango Show which was reeally good as well as arranging the city tour) The facilities where just ok, but they need to have the rooms checked for imperfections (one of tje lightbulbs did not work). Also the cleaning lady forgot to leave us some soaps a couple of days, the main desk helped us immediately. You get good value for what you pay, but I guess I was execting something more as I wasn't staying in the 'basic' room.

Everything was excellent. The staff was very nice and helpful.

Good, solid hotel with pleasant service and decent rooms.

Right across the street from a nice selection of bars and restaurants without hearing any of the noise from your hotel room. Located just outside the hustle and bustle of el Centro, the location and accommodating staff make this a great Hotel. I stayed in a standard room, which was more than enough for 2 people if needed.

The location of this hotel is very convenient it is close to Florida street and Cordoba and most of the touristy spots. The room was spacious and very clean we could not have asked for more. Th staff was very polite and professional as well though we had some difficulty communicating to a few people especially when it came to breakfast orders and I was surprised that a hotel this big did not have bilingual staff( most of them are but a few of them are not) . We used the pool which was not very big but nevertheless a nice addition. The hotel is located in the midst of multiple restaurants and bars however you do not hear any noise of disturbance in the room. Overall a great place to stay in Buenos Aires

This 4 star hotel is located close to shopping, restaurants, and San Martin Square. Staff is courteous, and helpful. Although we speak little Spanish, the staff was patient with us when we spoke. They also recommended places to shop and restaurants. Accommodations were excellent, nicely furnished large room and very clean.

Very good location. Clean and comfortable. Staff spoke good English and was helpful but not thorough. We were given info. about train schedule that was not very accurate. Overall we had great time and can go back there in future.

Melia hotel has a great location in the heart of the Microcenter ( downtown area ) where all the great restaurants and shopping stores are located. The street where it is located is now a pedestrian mall. Breakfast buffet is great. 3 choices of room categories with the Superior very different with an open bathroom and very spacious with copious desk space for the businessman - for me the best value in Buenos Aires for business or pleasure.

This hotel was perfect for us. The location is located very near all the must-see spots in the city (a few blocks from Florida, and within walking distance of the Obelisk and nearby Teatro Colon and Plaza de Mayo). The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room itself was gorgeous, clean, and very comfortable. In addition, it was quiet. Just what you need after a day in a big city. Our only complaint (and still not a huge one) was that the hotel restaurant was not competitive with surrounding restaurants. Other nearby places (such as the pub across the street) had better food for better prices.

The hotel is nicely situated, so I was able to see many of the surrounding tourist sites. The hotel room was very clean and tidy. Overall was a very enjoyable trip.

It is a good hotel. I always go to this Hotel when I travel to Buenos Aires.

We spent eight days exploring all that Buenos Aires has to offer. The Melia Buenos Aires Hotel served as home-base. It had clean rooms, great service, and excellent buffet breakfast; we were impressed with its daily fresh fruit offerings including mangos, kiwis, and papayas. Staff couldn't be nicer. Although on a busy street, the room's double-pane windows kept the noise out. We made good use of the hotel's three complimentary computers in its Business Center.

nice hotel,good location.

I have worked the 3 days I spent in Buenos Aires, and relaxed in the evening...

I was going on a 5 day visit to see my girlfriend who was studying there. The problem I had was that she was not allowed to even come up to my room. She was not going to stay there but, she was not allowed to come up at all. My plane arrived early that morning and she made sure I got to the hotel and it was early for her and she had to get back on the subway without getting any rest.
