Icaro Suites

We enjoyed three nights at the Icaro Suites and loved our time there. The front desk staff was extremely accommodating and allowed us an early check in so we could explore the city after an overnight flight from Atlanta. Though the neighborhood seems abit iffy, you can walk the streets - accompanied - with confidence. Be sure to check out the local graffiti. Here it is an art form and very much encouraged. In fact, you can have a graffiti tour:

We stayed at the beginning and the end of our trip to Santiago and Patagonia in December 2016. The service was excellent. The first time we had a room facing the main street and traffic noise was a little annoying, especially that of the street busses. The second time we had a room facing the back and it was much better.

Very spacious rooms ideal for families, with kitchen and en-suite with excellent shower. Great place with loads of space value for money. Breakfast is OK but pretty much standard I think. Staff were very helpful

I was pleasantly surprised by our stay here. Great central location for walking to main places of interest. Very clean and friendly staff. Breakfast was basic but satisfying without being outstanding. My one observation was why have a cooker hob and no pots or pans in the apartments? I found this strange and I am only mentioning it as as we always choose an apartment to stay as we like to make breakfast/coffee etc by ourselves. No big deal though. I would recommend.

Photocopying passports and credit cards without the client consent was alarming. This practice could easy lead to unlawful use of this information by others.. The matter was brought to the attention of the manager who returned the photocopies on departure. He was also made aware of the complete non communicative skills of the person responsible at check-in on our arrival.

We stayed here for three days. We liked it so much that we cancelled our reservation at another hotel when we returned to BA a few days early. The rooms are large, with a kitchen. Spotless. Bed is very comfortable. Breakfast was great. Staff were excellent. Front desk folks were very efficient. Excellent location. Close to several subway stops. Lots of good restaurants in the area. We were so glad we stayed here.

We spend two nights in a king suite here and loved the size of the room and the facilities. It was clean and well decorated and the staff especially Gustavo were wonderful and helpful. It is quite central and in a safe area. The breakfast was good especially the fresh fruit. I recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

Hotel in a very center of Buenos Aires. With a very spacious suits. Quiet, with very good air condition, Very nice stuff. Breakfast could be better. Safe surrounding. Quite new hotel. I recomend it for sure.

The room was large and very clean, with all the amenities such as bed side tables and bench space in the bathroom. The location also turned out to be quite good, with lots of resto/bars up the street. On walking back late in the evening we crossed the road to avoid some homeless people who had made themselves at home in an alleyway. The only downside for me is the price. I have returned from travel in Asia where a similar room would go for around $30-40. This room cost me $103. Finally, we didn't enjoy the breakfast. We have a preference for healthy food but hey, this is Argentina where people eat media lunas and other sweet pastries for breakfast in preference to eggs or museli. We are here in South America for about two months so we will need to get used to it.

Icaro Suites is an excellent hotel. We stayed there twice, the first night of our Argentina trip and the last two nights. The second time we were received like honored guests and were upgraded to a better room. The original room was also lovely and very spacious. The location is fantastic (not a nice street but in walking distance of a lot) and the service was very good and very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast included scrambled eggs and fresh fruit. Definitely recommend.
