My friend and I stayed at the Bel Air Hotel when vacationing in Buenos Aires from the US, our first trip to Argentina. Hotel is well-located, well-priced, clean, safe and comfortable. Small enough that the staff recognized us when we returned from a day of exploring. We stayed 4 days, then went to Mendoza and Montevideo and came back for another 4 days. They permitted us to leave our big suitcases there when we were away for 5 days (at no charge). We would definitely go back.

The location is pretty good, close to all of the sight seeing places, though since they locked the gate outside and sometimes no one answer the door late night.

Our first visit to Buenes Aires was made most enjoyable due to the lovely accommodations and helpful, friendly staff at Bel Air. Conveniently located in the upscale neighborhood of Recoleta, we enjoyed walking to the Cemetery, Museums, and shopping. The rooms were comfortable and spotless, the breakfast leisurely, and the staff were cheerful, friendly and knowledgeable, particularly Magdalena and Luis. We will stay at Bel Air when we return to BA and recommend it with enthusiasm.

tLouis, at the front desk was great. He spoke English and was extremely helpful. He couldn't have been more helpful. He recommended restaurants, places to visit and called taxis for us. The Belair was clean. It had a good breakfast.

This hotel was a good value for what we paid. It was a very good transition for us from a cruise ship to the trip home. The staff was very helpful with transportation and show tickets. It was clean and comfortable.

when in Buenos Aires stay in Recoleta for the perfect experience

Excellent location, not too large, not too small. Staff is very accommodating. I would recommend it to anyone.

This is a nice hotel, beautiful building and good service. The only complain is about internet, they don't have free internet, if you want it you have to pay $10 by day. I think the room price they charge must cover internet use.

I am glad I stayed at the Bel Aire. The location is good and the people at the front desk spoke English and were helpful. Breakfast was appreciated and there are many great restaurants nearby.

This was my third visit to this hotel, and once again I left with no regrets. Helpful staff, great location and decent pricing. The breakfasrs were good too...

Great hotel, nice big rooms, huge bathroom, very clean, there's a gym and 2 new computers (sometimes you have to wait a little while to use one, but usually one's open), the staff is very nice, and the location is great (in Recoleta, right off a darling park, just one block from a major thoroughfare, Santa Fe, where you can take the 152 bus pretty much anywhere in the city). You can definitely find cheaper hotels in Buenos Aires, but if money isn't a huge concern, then I certainly recommend Bel Air.

The Bel Air hotel in Buenos Aires was very nice. The beds were extremely comfortable with fluffy down comforters and great pillows. It was very quiet, which was much appreciated after several hotels in other cities that had loud street noise at all hours of the night. The room was quite small, but that was fine because it was comfortable. We were able to walk to most of the places we wanted to see, and took the subway to the others. We had to pay for internet, and they didn't even have wifi in the lobby.

The room, hotel staff, location were all excellent. The included breakfast was very good. We also found the hotel staff very helpful. The hotel's location was in a very safe area with easy access to the Retiro, Recoleta and Florida Street for shopping.

Located on a quiet street near a park. Within walking distance of downtown and Recoleta. Staff friendly. Price reasonable.

Clean, a little shopworn but they are painting the entrance. Cafeteria breakfast is ok not great. Does get crowded as morning progresses. Forget about having other meals there the neighborhood has plenty of great offerings. Staff is competent, sometimes a little stand offish. Internet is for pay and is really slow and balky at times to the point of mucho frustration.

Central to Recoleta and nearby barrios. Friendly helpful staff, nice rooms. Good value.

Friendly, comfortable place. Terrific value.

Pros: Good location. Good Breakfast. Decent Rooms Cons: No Free Wi-Fi. Air conditioning not effective.

Great Hotel and close to all activities and transportation.

Perfect for our 5 day holiday in the centre of Buenos Aires. Staff were English speaking and most helpful.
