I think, this is the best Holiday Inn Express I ever stayed . Absolutely perfect staff, nice breakfast. They suggested a variety of tango clubs and city tours. And we enjoyed all of them. As a HI members, we had both early check-in and check out. Thank you a lot.
Very friendly & efficient staff; reasonable prices; well situated - walking distance, even pulling suitcase, from Retiro train & bus terminals; good limo service to EZE or APE chargeable to your room.
Exactly the same as everyone other Holiday Inn Express in North America, which is everything you need, nothing you don't. Clean, easy, well located. No parking, but with this location you likely don't need a car.
This facility was great. Both clean and comfortable. The breakfast bar was good. And the employees were very helpful. The location was within walking distance of restaurants. Overall a great choice indeed.
Another Holiday inn with the usual service: reception staff was polite, English was spoken by all-a rarity in Argentina-and the room clean as usual. Although the room, and in fact the hotel in general, was located between two big streets, it was very quiet. The location is very convenient, the famous Florida street with shops is three blocks away. The breakfast was simple but sufficient, and included. For other meals they had a self-service fridge, but almost everything had meat in it. For those who do eat meat, there are sandwiches, quiches you could warm up, and just fill a form with whatever you got, and it was added to the hotel bill. The only minus was that I had booked a transfer to the airport with Tienda Leon at 13:30, but even after asking nicely, had to leave the room at 12:00. Waited in the lobby which was quiet.
Suggest not going to the 13th floor as the rooms are smaller. Found out this when went to visit a friend on the 4th floor. totally different room. Also had a better view to the Puerto Madero side. Breakfast simple and good. GYM ok. Location is excellent and indeed it is what counts in a trip to BA.
99% of the time when I travel I stay at IHG properties around the world and it is always home away from home for me wherever I go. It was no different this time during my stay at the Holiday Inn Express Puerto Madero! All of the front desk personnel, including the managers and especially my very good friend Lucas and the security team made me feel right at home. I am very thankful to all of you. I look forward to staying at this property again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Buenos Aires, Argentina!
Great location. Close to bus lines and metro. If you like walking it’s within walking distance to Recoleta and San Telmo. Delicious breakfast with plenty of healthy options. The room was relatively clean. Shower didn’t work well and the sheets were tattered. For what I payed I per night I expect not to have these issues. Front desk was pleasant but lacked in consierge services. Didn’t have time to check out the gym or sauna. I think there might have been a pool as well...
Rated it excellent as an HI Express hotel (Its not 5star) Very helpful staff and comfortable quiet rooms. As a bonus their English was very good. Its well situated on the edge of the downtown area and Puerto Madero. We arrived before noon but a room was available so we were able to check in immediately. Buffet breakfast is adequate.Supermarkets nearby and a coffee shop almost next door. NB Area around hotel is not safe to walk in after dark
Is a good hotel for Buenos Aires standard. As all Holliday inn express is clean and simple, noting fancy. The rooms whit view to the back of the hotel might be to dark. Is well locates as is close to Puerto Madero where you can find good food and drinks.
