I was the leader of a group of nineteen people who booked into the. Cyan Recoleta Hotel in Buenos Aires for three days during the month of February, 2017. The hotel is centrally located in the Recoleta neighbourhood, and I had a room with a view overlooking the famous Recoleta Cemetery. Our reservation included breakfast daily which was superior to most breakfast I have had in similar class hotels in the USA. I had what I would describe as a standard room, in fairly good condition, but the furniture and fittings in the room could do with an upgrade. The entire staff was excellent, but I must say a special thank you to Johanna, who helped us negotiate a good deal with a taxi company to take us to and from the municipal airport for our trip to the Aguazu Falls. From this hotel it is quite easy to get a local excursion to visit all the other neighbourhoods in Buenos Aires. I believe they have competitively priced their rooms, and if I were to return to Buenos Aires I would have no difficulty staying at this hotel again.

We stayed at Cyan Recoleta hotel for just one night in April 2017. We decided to stay here as we had stayed at the Urban Suites next door and we were happy with the area. Check in was fast in the small lobby and we got room 202. When we came into the room it was on the small side but very light as there were white tiles on the floor, white walls, a couple of white barstools etc. The kingsize bed was large and I slept well in it that night even if it was a bit on the soft side. There is a small table with a couple of barstools and a small kitchen which included an empty fridge (it was possible to buy various stuff in the lobby if I’m not mistaken), a microwave oven and some basic kitchen amenities. The room looks pretty fancy at first glance but you can also see that it is a bit worn out when you take a closer look. Wifi was included in the room and worked fine. We had a great view of the Recoleta cemetery from our window. The bathroom was tiny and there was a shower option in the bathtub – I’m not crazy about shower curtains and it would have been great to see a better shower option. There were basic amenities like soap and shampoo and the wardrobe included a small safe. The breakfast was served in the basement and it was setup in a light modern room. It included the usually selection of sweet cereal, bread, pastries, various spreads and small glasses of fruit salad. Location of the hotel is good. It is located right next to Recoleta cemetery and Recoleta mall and in the area you will find shops, restaurants and bars. All in all we were happy with our stay at this hotel. The room small but it works great if you are only staying for a night or two.

We stayed one night at the Cyan Recoleta Hotel. The staff was excellent, both pleasant ant helpful. The room was spacious and clean. We were on the 5th floor but could still hear noise from the restaurants on the street below at night. The bed was a little soft and the sheets seemed to pull out from the mattress making for a less than great sleep. The breakfast was included and was good with a variety of mostly cold foods. All in all, I would say this hotel would be rated as a good quality for the price and location.

Hotel is well located, but rooms are outdated and dirty. I am allergic to dirt and nose start running after a few hours. The curtains must definitely be washed and cleaning improved. There were hairs in the bathtub and dirt in the light switch. I would avoid this place. I am happy that I am staying here only one night. A good point in favor of the hotel, besides the location is the fast internet. Beverage, like water, must be purchased downstairs at the front desk.

As I was alone for this stay in Buenos Aires I was looking for a nice, safe and of course clean hotel. This hotel exceed my expectations, mi room had Kind of small kitchen with fridge, Microwave and small Dinner table. And the Location was Great, It was near a shopping center and near the bus stop of the hop on hop off touristic buses.

I arrived today in Buenos Aires and needed to stay one night in this hotel until we move tomorrow to an apart hotel with full kitchen.... This place looks beautiful on the outside... The staff is very courteous... BUT.... The rooms although updated have older bathrooms... The towels were "holey" and old... They strictly put 2 bath towels 1 face towel and one floor mat. The shower's water pressure and temp is good... However the curtain should be on a curved pole to provide more space... Its so narrow youbjabebtobfight the shower curtain to keep it from sticking to you... Yuuukkkk!!! I find that repulsive especially with the lovely orange mold growing on the edges.... The bathroom in general was.not considered clean to my standards... Hairs all over... When I go into a room to stay, I do not want to be reminded of former patrons... All kinds of hairs on the floor...in the tub...even stuck to the walls. The noise level is horrible.... We were on the 6th floor and felt we were at street level, of how loud it was... You can not only hear noosesndrom the outside... You hear all the activities on the floor....not. A place you can easily get a good night's sleep. It has a kitchenette with a microwave and small fridge... Some cups and silverware...nothing else... Not even dish soap to wash.... To top it all off the AC!!!... I realize argentinians are not in air conditioning... Most would rather go all fresco... But I come from a place where AC is a must.... We had to call various times to ask them to turn the ac on.... They always said they would... But we were hot all night!!!... I think that the value for the price that was paid is not worth it... There are much better hotels for a lot less money.... This is definitely a "caveat emptor"....Breakfast was no different than our overall experience... We were hopefully when walked in and saw the well prepared buffet filled with breads... Ham, cheese.. Fruits... Cereals... But as we began to sample the offerings we found bitter fruits... Horrible crescent rolls and COLD scrambled eggs... There was onlybone person cleaning tables and replenishing the buffet...impossible for the morning group of over 50 people constantly flowing in.... Needless to say... Not a place I would choose to stay in again....

For the cost of the room this hotel does not represent value or comfort. There is clearly a big issue with the quality of room service, we experienced dirty sheets and dustbins that were not emptied during a three night stay. A pair of comfortable chairs would be a bonus. But the big downside is the noise from the bars and restaurants coming through the hotel windows in both the front facing bedrooms overlooking the cemetery, as well as the bedrooms at the back. Next time in BA, we will go elsewhere to get a decent night’s sleep.

We have been there in February 2017, 2 nights, and March 2 nights Well situated in Recoleta area, we have experienced also the Cyan in El Calafate. Rooms are large, equiped with a small kitchen. Restaurants can be found around the place, you can take the bus to go to the center, manager can give you a bus pass free of charge if asked.

The hotel is right in middle Recoleta. Good location to explore. Room was large with 2 separate areas for lounge with sofa, table and the bedroom. Well insulated. Even though there are lots of bars around there was no noise in the room. Staff very friendly. Thank you

We really enjoyed staying at the Cyan Recoleta. The staff was a huge hep with tours, restaurant choices etc. it has one of the best locations in the city. I highly recommend the hotel and also the suites
