On desperate need of renovation, great location, classy history but run down...

on a small side street in a questionable location. would not walk around at night. two sex shops up the street (claridge can't help that).

The hotel entrance is like an oasis on the street and in the barrio. It's spacious when you walk in but you notice not much life in the lounge or bar area. Pretty dark and lifeless unlike other hotels. It's an older hotel I guess as the elevators are VERY small. The staff was friendly and answered all my questions no problems. The room was nice size and had what I needed. Good size bed. I guess it lacked a ceiling fan and AC to keep you cool sometimes. I opened windows a few times but closed them once as a mosquito got in and had to kill. I was on 5th floor. The hotel is in a truly GREAT spot to walk to quite a few things. Florida street is just around the corner. The Puente de la Mujeres is 10-15 minute walk, Obelisco is maybe 15 minutes. I walked to Recoleta but it's more like 3o minutes. Overall I'd stay here again.

Nothing! Very disappointed , nice old hotel but no Maintenance . Street restriction to cars during business hours.

Ideal location, center of the city. Close to shopping, major sightseeing areas. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Nice location Nice water pressure Rundown once glamorous hotel Got what we paid No complains

Old-Style hotel close to the main shopping drag (Calle Florida) yet quiet. Great breakfast and very helpful staff. Rooms are very clean.

Nice photo but the reality was Terrible. Room for 3 no for 2. the closet for 3 no for a 1/2 person.

Great location ; friendly staff; near everything!!! Good room service convenient to access key locations in Buenos Aires safe , good restaurant

Good price quality relation. Fine breakfast. Pleasant staff.

didn't stay there and got charged even though I had cancelled hotel is old and classy but in a horribly deserted area at night and not very safe for a single woman...that´s why I cancelled..

The reception and most of the old employees are extremely helpful, nice and professional.

the location is good, if you ask for a 10 minutes use of business center you need to pay, arrived to the hotel no shower, no trash can at bathroom, noisy room. It is OK for business trip departing early, and returning late night to sleep, and location is good for diliguences in downtown

The hotel seems to be a good deal for the price (around 60-65/night). My room was very nice and clean. Overall service was good and there were a couple of English speaking staff at the front desk which was helpful. The breakfast was nice as well. The negative for me was that they were lacking in other amenities. The computer room was ancient and it took me a long time to get any of the computers to work (the one that did work, the letters on the keyboard were worn off) but I finally did get my boarding pass printed. The hotel has a nice looking lounge area that was good for happy hour, but there is no real restaurant to speak of. The limited menu is extremely limited. They serve it during lunch and happy hour but there wasn't anything interesting on it. They say they have room service, but get a bit panicked when you ask for a menu. The one time I wanted to order it they said they were too busy and were out of what I wanted. Also the fitness center was old but functional (I never saw anyone else in there) and needs an upgrade. The bottom line is that is if you're there on vacation, want a clean, decent place with few amenities (e.g., you plan to explore local restaurants at night, etc.) then the hotel is a good value. But if (like me) you're there on business (having room service, etc.) and like more amenities such as restaurant, business center, fitness faciltiy, you'll want to upgrade.

People were opened and closed door all night. I called Front Desk and they told me that I should wait a little bit and they would see what they could do. I had an early flight and the noises did not stop until I left the hotel at 5am. The room was ok.

The hotel location is ideal to explore all different Buenos Aires neighborhoods. Close to restaurants and wine shops too.

The hotel is located close to transit and the mall. The staff are really nice and will exceed your requests. Nice coffee houses around the corner. It is good for the price.

i was at this hotel for my vacation IN BA. I had an awesome time and hotel was a good value.

The Claridge Hotel is far from having 5 stars, it maybe has 1 or 2, it is very old, dirty, stinks, the carpet is so dirty you can't walk barefoted, the worst part is that we arrived at the hotel at 1:00 am, very tired from our trip and when we walket into the room what a disaster, it got whorse when I wanted to use the toilet, to my surprise, it had been used and not flushed!!!! so they didn't clean the room at all!! Please don't go to this hotel if you are looking for a good hotel, it is sad that they even offer this hotel in your website. the least that they should do is return the money!!!!! MY WORST HOTEL EVER!!!!!

Tucuman 535 Buenos Aires Capital Federal
