This hotel is a charming place in a great location. I have been traveling for business for over 30 years and I can say the staff here are the kindest, most helpful, and professional I've ever seen. If you come to Buenos Aires I would recommend Casasur.

Staff was courteous, location excellent, room on second floor was quiet. The room had a septic smell coming out of master bath. We alerted staff and it did go away for an evening to return the next day. It would also be good to include iron/ironing boards in room, although this was typical for the three hotels during our visit to Argentina.

First and foremost, the most remarkable aspect of Casasur Art is its terrific location. Half a block from Av. Alvear, right on Callao, near the shops, restaurants, cafes and best hotels in the city, make it amazingly convenient for a tourist visit. The staff was friendly from the start, it has a very homie feel to it. It is for people who appreciate personal and small hotels. The room we got had a nice Little balcony overlooking Callao Av. King sized bed was very comfortable, I would even say larger than average sized King beds. The decor is sober and elegant. I would suggest some things to better the experience. The bathroom had no air extraction system, which could be easily fixed and should be available for a 5 star boutique hotel. The curtains can be better so less light comes through in the morning and for two people, I think a corner chair could be quite Handy. Sometimes we had no place to put our clothes on top of, or even sit down a while. Also, the cable decoder was placed on top of the TV against the Wall, it should have a separate place for itself, that doesnt give it a proper image. Finally, we had no floor towels in the bathroom. That should be provided too. NOTE: The breakfast can be upgraded a bit, especially the orange juice and the quality of the coffee. That being said, we had a beautiful trip in large part due to the hotel. Slept well, got the city tour included in the cost, got some great tips from the staff and mainly walked everywhere. The location was particularly strategic for us because we were attending a wedding at Palacio Duhau Grand Hyatt, which is right on Alvear, 5 minutes away. I would definitely come back to this property and one detail I loved was at check out, when I reviewed my bill, I didnt see 2 waters we had taken from the mini fridge, and instead of them being listed automatically, the man at the front desk asked me if we had taken anything from the fridge. I thought that showed respect and trust.

This hotel was the perfect, quaint boutique hotel. The staff went above and beyond to help us in anything. Also in great location next to the Recoleta Park and Cementary.

Great hotel. Must stay. In walking distance of all major tourist destinations in Recoletta. My wife and I stayed at the Hilton Hotel and the Casa Sur during our stay. In hindsight, we wished that we had stayed at Casa Sur for our entire stay. The subte (subway) is about a 15 minute walk from the hotel. Since it was our honeymoon, the hotel gave us a free bottle of champagne and desserts. The safe was extremely more helpful than the Hilton staff.

Hotel exceded my expectations. Great location. Great free full breakfest. Great room with balcony and all the amenities one needs. Excillent staff. Apparently I highly recommend

My husband and I stayed in this hotel for our last night in Argentina (16 days total). The hotel staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel room is well appointed with a comfortable bed (the hotel is on a busy road but there was no street noise). The breakfast is also wonderful. It is a great botique hotel. I would stay there again. If you are there on a Saturday be sure to head to the street market close by near the cemetery. Live music and a great place to buy hand crafted gifts before you head home.

We had an excellent stay at CasaSur Art hotel. You really can't beat the excellent location in the clean and safe Recoleta area of Buenos Aires. The staff was all very nice and professional, especially Richard and Mariano. This hotel is also very clean. Would highly recommend staying here in Buenos Aires.

Everything was wonderful. Veronica (one of the desk/concierge) helped make our trip. She is knowledgable about the city and ready toile suggestions / recommendations best suited to what you want to do. The rest of the staff were also very friendly. The wait staff were a tad odd - not knowing whether the signature cars for breakfast had been picked up or signed, Really amazing time. Great hotel - very good value. Central location right in the heart of Rocoleta.

Great location in Recoleta about two blocks from cemetery. Very professional, friendly, and helpful staff. We stayed in a Superior room which had a great patio that was rather large. We stayed in this hotel and another in Palermo Soho. Because of dining and shopping in Palermo, we'd spend more time in Palermo than Recoleta if we went back. But this is the hotel we'd go back to in Recoleta.

The room was comfortable, the staff was knowledgeable and always willing to help, and the location can't be beat. The only negative is that the walls seemed a bit thin and as such we could hear some noise from adjoining rooms. Also the building next door was having some type of construction during our stay, but that's not CasaSur's fault.

Incredibly unaccomodating front desk staff. The restaurant staff and doormen were curtious and friendly, but unfortunately this did not extend to the concierge. For a small luxury hotel, I expected top quality service and, unfortunately, this was missing. The pool and gym are also incredibly small -the gym simply has a treadmill, bike and freeweights. The bathroom outside of the gym is unbelievably dirty. We stayed at a less expensive hotel before arriving at Casasur and found their accomodations and staff to be top rate. Look elsewhere!

We stayed at this hotel while doing business in BA. It has an excellent location, safe, convenient, and close to good shopping and restaurants within a few blocks. The staff was exceptional, and we really grew attached to them! The hotel is very clean and beautiful. Because we stayed through Saturday, we took advantage of their complimentary city tour. It was fantastic! The tour guide was first-rate, and the tour was very thorough. We had a great time and learned a lot about the city. The morning buffet breakfast is the best we've ever had...though they don't offer much, they don't need to. They have good quality choices, delicious coffee, very good eggs, and fresh-squeezed juice! We enjoyed it. We had only a couple of disappointments. Probably our biggest issue is that the room was small. We both had laptops, but only one of us could really set up. The bath is also quite small. The room design, while it has initial impact, actually, is not very functional. You have to close the bathroom door to use the toilet, and the bathroom counter is extremely low, so you really have to bend over to use the sink. Overall, the guestroom was not a place to hang out for a long time. Luckily, we didn't need to! One last thing, though we noticed this at other restaurants in the city, was that the hotel bar was out of most offerings. They gave us a coupon for a free drink our first night, but come to find out, it only really applied to beer and wine. We didn't want beer or wine, so we ordered cocktails, only to find out that actually, they were out of rum and vodka. We then ordered whisky, and they only had enough for two drinks. When we came back the next few nights, they never replenished any of these liquors, to the extent that our server, on our last night, actually joked with my husband by offering him a rum drink...and then said, "Just kidding!" (he was very cute about it) We never could figure out why they didn't replace the items they were out of. Overall, we give this hotel a very good rating.

Clean modern stylish zen-style rooms. Top-notch friendly service staff, as good as any top-end hotel. Good neighborhood location.
