We were lucky enough to check in on 5 separate occasions to the Casa Calma on our recent 6 week trip to Argentina. We were so pleased we chose to stay here. Casa Calma wins on three counts. Firstly it is in a wonderfully central location. Secondly, the rooms are so very comfortable and large. Thirdly, and most importantly, the staff are simply fantastic. They are friendly, helpful and welcoming. I have never been sad to leave a hotel before. Thank you so much.
This was my first time ever in Buenos Aires and I'm glad I've found this little cosy hotel with young and helpful people at the reception. They were all ready to help all the time with a pleasant attitude and smiling faces. Specially Celeste and Diego gave me fantastic recommendations. They arranged for me to see great tango shows with dinner. My large bedroom and bathroom on the 6th floor were beautiful and comfortable with a conveniently lit, spacious wardrobe. I was happy the heating worked well since it was chilly outside. The hotel's location was quite convenient as well with at least 5 restaurants in walking distance. I hope to go back next year.
Rooms are clean, spacious, and well furnished. True to its name, rooms are quiet. And the hotel is intimate, too, with only two rooms on each floor. Each room has its own wifi so no problems with competing with other guests for internet access. Breakfast is well stocked, and the service is excellent all around. Only downside for the business traveler is no bar and no exercise facilities, but plenty of restaurants all around. Convenient location.
I don’t write many reviews but this place really deserves an acknowledgement. We only stayed here for a very short time but we wish it had been longer. The room was fantastic more than enough room to swing a cat, clean and tidy. A very roomy bathroom. Breakfast was great - everything you need before a day exploring. But best of all the staff at this place were fantastic. They went well beyond the call of duty and their English was impeccable. I wish all hotels were this great. I have no problem recommending this hotel to anyone.
Staff in are very friendly and helpful. All the recommendations they have given me about the local area are great. Room is huge! unlike some of the other hotel, I've stayed in. Open bathroom with spa tub is a great added bonus, especially after a full day of exploring. Breakfast is great, mainly continental with good selections of pastries. Also they can cook Egg on request. Locations are good, central and near subway/Bus station. P.S. They do have 2 x free bamboo bike for guests.
My fiancée and I stayed here for 4 nights in a standard room. The hotel is in a fantastic location and safe area with lots of restaurants and sites nearby. The some of the fixtures and fittings in the room were a bit run down and tired, it was very comfortable and no real complaints. There was a massive spa bath and even a sauna in each room! The thing that made the hotel so good was the staff. They were always so friendly and helpful and if we are every back in Buenos Aires we are staying here again.
Casa Calma Hotel is a small hotel in a perfect location in Buenos Aires. Friendly and helpful staff. Room is large, well laid out, quiet and very comfortable. The hotel staff go out of their way to make you stay comfortable. This was our fourth trip Buenos Aires. So glad we finally discovered this hotel.
The hotel common areas are small but cozy. It is located very centrally near a lot of attractions in Buenos Aires. The rooms are big, comfortable, clean, and done with great taste - and they also have a ton of amenities such as a hydro-jet tub, rain shower, sauna, movies for rent, closet space, plenty of towels, mini bar, and many other standard hotel room features. The hotel is beautiful and done with a lot of attention to detail. What makes this hotel so special is its staff - Everyone at this hotel is friendly and attentive. The treatment is very personal and the staff make every effort to make your stay the best it could be. We can't wait to go back.
We enjoyed our four night stay in this well situated hotel. Excellent facilities. Well managed. Daily briefing with suggestions for wet weather. Good breakfast with excellent personal service. The only drawback was the limited channels on the television. No English language channels, especially Can or BBC
