Broadway Hotel & Suites

We stayed here after asking to move from our first hotel in BA. I think after stopping in 6 hotels in Brazil and Argentina I think you need to recalibrate your standards from European ones. The hotels seem to be all a little worn out so I’ve based this rating on the other hotels we used. The front office staff were very good, the breakfasts were fine and the rooms larger than normal. Fittings and fixtures ok. The lifts are infrequent for 17 floors and we were on the 17th so walking down not an option. Would use again and if you like the equivalent of Shaftesbury Avenue you’ll enjoy it

We stayed with a larger group for 2 nights in Buenos Aires at the Broadway Hotel & Suites. Honestly we were quite disappointed from the rooms who need maintenance and clean-up in every corner.... Housekeeping is an issue in th entire Hotel. Also the pool area doesn't help.... The management knew that I'm the manager of the group's company but they treated me as enyone else....

I am surprised to read such good reviews for this hotel. The reception area is nice and modern, however, we booked a junior suit but it was very dated and not that big, in need of a refurb. We had asked for twin beds but they were not full size single beds The bathroom was not particularly clean, there was a build up of black mould around the edges of the fittings. The toilet flush was wobbly, the table in the bedroom area wobbled. There was no shower gel they only supply a bar of soap. The safe didn't work even though it was reported 3 times. Situated on a main road which was noisy with traffic late into the night and early morning. Breakfast was OK, there was a selection of nice fruit but much of the bread and pastries were dry and stale. The restaurant area was small and often busy we often couldn't get a table for 3 people and had to split up. We tried to get a drink in the bar area one evening but the lounge section was set up for breakfast and the staff ignored us so we gave up. We tried on a second occasion and did manage to get served after much persistence, but again the area was set up for breakfast. Yes it is central but the surrounding areas were not very nice and there were no decent restaurants or bars in the immediate vicinity. To get to restaurants it was quite a walk through some unpleasant streets, or a taxi or metro ride. Some of the reception staff were surly and unhelpful, with the exception of the guy who checked us in on arrival, he was really good. The rooftop pool area was nice but there was only a small area with shade and that was always full, it was too hot to sit in the full sun so we were unable to use the area. We asked reception to book a taxi for our departure to the international airport, a small cranky old van turned up which was extremely uncomfortable and the driver was rude with his windows wide open and radio blaring out the entire journey. I think reception staff just ring a mate to do the trip.

Just stayed here 3 nights. Everything exceeded our expectations....location, service, rooftop pool and breakfast choices. We were especially pleased with the spacious suite. The staff were helpful with booking taxis, tours, and confirming reservations. You can walk to most main attractions from here. We would definitely stay again.

AMAZING HOTEL. Great staff. Very helpful. Wonderful facilities. Rooftop pool. Steps to everything. Walk along Av. 9 de Julio or Corrientes. Obelisco one block away. Breakfast was good. Plenty of options. Reconocimiento especial para Julio. He put our luggage aside in a safe place and then got us a taxi.

Stayed 4 nights at this hotel. Was very busy at breakfast and the small restaurant barely copes. The breakfast has lots of fresh fruit which is verg good but limited cereal choice. There are scrambled eggs and sausage plus lots of bread and croissant. The rooms are large and spacious and the bed is comfortable. Clean towels are available daily. There is only an emergency fire staircase which is clearly only to be used in an emergency so you can wait ages for the lifts one of which only holds 4 people.

The hotel is located about a block from the obelisk. It is within walking distance of the Plaza de Mayo and Florida street shopping. The rooms are clean, quiet, and comfortable. Breakfast including assorted fresh fruits, cereals, eggs, etc. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Very nice hotel in the center of Buenos Aires, rooms are very spacious newly renovated. Hotel amenities are excellent, breakfast and food is average, really doesn’t matter since a lot of good places in walking distance.

Located in the Corrientes Avenue and at just one block from the Obelisk this is a very well located hotel. Unfortunately it does not have a car parking area in front, so the cabs leave you in the sidewalk. Nice hotel, clean and with a helpful front desk. The rooms are ample and with a kitchenette.

Rooms are large with minimal furnishings. Those rooms looking out over the ugly internal areas are very quiet. Breakfast is quite good with reasonable selection. Staff are pleasant & the small entry into the hotel is kept secure. They also assisted us over the busy sidewalk. The front desk will change US$ for a good rate. This Hotel is unable to store luggage if you are away visiting another area - even if returning to stay again. Reasonable rate per day of around US$100. The only reason this hotel is 4 star is the rooftop pool.
