We loved our stay. We needed somewhere pet friendly and this place definitely was. The hosts are really lovely people and have a gorgeous dog themselves so obviously know what people are looking for. There is literally everything that you could ever need in this house, the kitchen is so well stocked and the fridge freezer was massive. We used to have an Aga so enjoyed having the Rayburn stove but for anyone who is not used to this there is a massive air fryer. Would definitely recommend this lovely cottage

Absolutely fantastic stay at The Old Forge in Bude. Laura and Eric were the perfect hosts and it was a pleasure to meet them. The cottage was clean and had every facility you could think of including a large fridge freezer, a very good air fryer, dishwasher and an Aga style range. There was a bedroom and bathroom downstairs, which was great for me as I have limited mobility. My friend used the other bedroom and bathroom upstairs. The beds were comfortable, towels and tea towels were provided as well as extras like washing up liquid, condiments, tea, coffee etc. We even had fresh eggs from the chickens and a gorgeous homemade cake on our arrival. All in all a wonderful time and I won't hesitate to book again when next in the area.
