The staff was very helpful with restaurant, train, metro, and postal information as well as managing bike storage so I did not have to wait on-site for a bike rental company. The room was clean and warm which was nice with the cold front that moved into the area. Breakfast was free and satisfying. The price was reasonable and I give an "excellent" rating with the price in mind. I would use Trianon again when I repeat this trip. The location is near city center which made sight seeing and restaurants easy by foot as well allowing me to walk to the Gard de Nord train station which I used to begin a bicycle trip on the Transfagarasan.
I used to enjoy this hotel. Last time I was there the staff was super nice. HOWEVER, this time one of the concierge members and the manager were completely unhelpful and rude. They messed up my room and sold me a room that no longer existed! I tried to resolve issue but the manager was completely rude often laughing at me and snarky with me all the while laughing with her colleague. I was told I could move to a suite room like I reinvested and purchased by the first employee we. I arrived the following might however the manager said only one suite exists and he didn't say that. Super unprofessional the manager continues to talk about me after I left to other guests and her employee. I will never stay here again! And I hope the owner gets a new manager or they will loose lots of business. The hotel is self is nice food was great but the staff get a negative 10 on the friendly and helpful side. The room was clean even though it wasn't what I paid for. The bathroom smelled like sewage for some reason and it made the room have a stinch. The AC didn't work properly and it was blazing hot!
The hotel was very nice for what I paid. The room was relatively comfortable. The staff were very friendly. I would stay there again.
The Hotel Trianon was the perfect place for my two friends and I in June of 2015. The staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. They were patient and friendly as we asked an endless amount of questions and favors. The hotel was in the perfect location for us...away from the crowds and across from the gorgeous Cismigiu gardens/park. It is a short walk from the old city. The breakfast buffet had a good variety and delicious croissants. We definitely would stay here again if we are in Bucharest!
Our 2 night stay at this hotel was fantastic! Away from the traffic noise but still close to the Centre, a 10 minute walk through the park. Room was great - I especially loved the shower stall - two types of shower heads, a great massage! I would stay at this place again.
The room was small with skylights a at the beginning I was a bit claustrophobic but with skylights open it was OK. It had AC, everything was really clean and functional, staff was professional and helpful and the breakfast was really nice. The location could not have been better. I would definitively go there again.
The location of the hotel is very good, in the downtown. They don't have "free parking" just a few places in the front of the hotel, on the street. Very often you couldn't find a parking place, you need to turn around the hotel and the streets are all "one way", it's difficult. Room we had was fairly large but very simple, twin beds with pillows very bad, disheveled shapes emerging from tangles basic but clean. At the head of the bed it was big stain on the wall and the room has a smell, I had to stay with the window open at all times. The room's windows are in the courtyard, if there are many people down who speaks, it is difficult for you to get some rest. Only one very kind of staff is Diana who indeed do anything to help you, with all the rest. . . Breakfast is good but you have all the time to tell them that there is no bread, or butter, etc. coffee is horrible. Conclusion this hotel is only 2 stars not 3.
As you will find in most of Romania, there are small hotels all over that seem to have few people staying in them. This was a nice place near center of Bucharest that I found when I needed a room after my arrival plans changed. The outside and inside of the hotel are ok for Romania standards with few people in the restaurant or bar. The room is very nice and the internet was great!
