Another pleasant stay at the Trianon last weekend...been there many times, good value, friendly staff, good location et. al. however a noisy party, music and all went on until 0200 in the morning on the Friday(?) night followed by partygoers hanging around the courtyard chatting loudly until 0500 Saturday morning! Staff told me it was an 18th birthday party...Trianon management please note this is certainly not good and not acceptable for other guests...needs to be managed/controlled better!!
Stayed at the hotel Trianon for three nights with a friend. Since it was our first visit to the romanian capital we had a lot of questions....and the girl in the reception was more than helpful. 😀 We had a nice, quite and spacious room and the breakfast they served was very tasty and fresh. The hotel was situated in a nice area and within walkingdistance to the centre. I will definetely go back to Bucharest and then I'll make a reservation at this nice and cosy hotel!!
This would be a two star review but for the great location and helpful staff. Our room was very disappointing. Worst of all, it absolutely stunk of stale cigarette smoke so badly that it brought on headaches every time I was in the room. Our air conditioning blew warm air (and it was quite warm in Bucharest so we did need to cool the room AND try and rid the smell). The room itself was shabby with stained carpets and nothing like the neat colour design shown in the pictures. The shower head couldn't be directed which meant the water sailed straight over my head onto the wall (I had to use its hose function). The redeeming feature was that when we checked in and discovered a blocked sink, the staff immediately sent a lovely handyman to fix it. Also, it's location is a ten minute walk from many key attractions (Palace of the People and the Old City included) and opposite a delightful park that was lovely to wander through. I'm accustomed to Eastern European travel and still expect more from a three star hotel.
I had an awesome time staying there. It's really close to Cismigiu Garden and 15 minutes walking till the Old City Center. The staff was really nice and helpful, they helped me with any issue very fast. The rooms were clean, well arranged and warm and cozy. One of the best thing was the big breakfast buffet with a lot of things from what you choose. Paying a lot of money for low quality food in the Old City Center the night before, that huge breakfast buffet was a major plus for me
good location next to a big park and a short walk to the old town. The big downside is that when I made my booking through the hotel website I asked to be on the higher floor and in a subsequent email to the hotel I asked again and they confirmed if possible I would be but of course when I got to the hotel i was on the lower floor and there was no note on my reservation about asking for the higher floor. Not the biggest deal just annoying that they ignore these requests however the attitude of the girl at reception when I asked why my request wasn't on the reservation was really poor. All she could say was it's up to you to ask when you check in and ask them in the morning. Last time I checked I wasn't an employee of this hotel so no it's really not up to me to make sure...so an otherwise ok stay let down by such a poor attitude
4 nights stay. The staff was very helpfull. The room was clean, very nice with a lovely big dobble bed, safty box, mini bar and kettle for Coffee and tee.The bathroom was very nice with a big shower. A big plus was the breakfast bufet. Minus was that the room was a bit noisy. You could her the couple next door arguing and you could hear the noise from the street. Minus was also that the aircondition dit not work and the room got a little bit hot.But we had a nice stay anyway.
We made a reservation on the same day and paid 40 euros for the cheapest room so we didn't expect so much from the room. It turned out to be room for disabled and thus very spacious. The room was clean and service was friendly. The breakfast was good also. It is located near a small park which was a nice place to go on a morning walk. Negative points: When we arrived at 22pm, the window of our room was open (and it felt like it had been open for several hours) so it was freezing cold. Luckily the heater worked well but actually too well because during the night it got too hot even though we set the goal temperature to 20 degrees. Another one was that the bed was a bit shaky so it was hard for two people to sleep in it. I would recommend for cheap one night stay.
Very good price to quality ratio. Nice breakfast and polite personnel. \very close to the centre and old town is just a 15 minutes walk away. The rooms are big and cozy. There is a fridge/minibar in each room. The room and bathroom are clean and quite modern.
Very nice hotel just close to Cişmisgu Park. The old city is about 10 minutes walking distance. I had a one-night stay only, but I enjoyed every moment of it, and I wished I could stay longer. The room was spacious and clean with these facilites: a comfy double bed, a nice sofa, a well-kept and clean minibar, a big flatscreen TV on the wall, a safe, and a desk with a kettle and various kinds of tea, coffee & milk. The bathroom was also quite big with new shower appliances including a powerful hairdryer. Toiletries were provided. The receptionists at the front desk vere very nice. You can also buy souvenirs at the reception area - the small drinks were actually cheaper than those at the free-shop at the Henry Coanda Airport. The breakfast area is very nicely illumanted and decorated, with a large variety of food (diiferent kinds of bread, cheese, milk, yoghurt, fruits, vegetables, meat products, etc.). For lunch, we went to the park nearby, and ate at Marco Polo Restaurant in the park. It was very good. We had hired a taxi from the hotel to the airport one day before we checked out. It carried six people with their luggage in one car :) We paid 20 Euros - about 80 Lei in total. Maybe it was a little expensive, but it was worth it because we were all together. It took about half an hour to reach the airport by taxi. I definitely recomment the hotel!
The hotel was very clean and the room was well furnished anc comfortable. The location is good in the center of the city. The breakfast is perfect and I think it would be good for any type of person. I think it was a little bit expensive but non much more than any 3-stars hotel in these great conditions. Recommended!
