Wonderful staff, good rooms, good food, centrally located. Have stayed at this hotel many many times, and have a great experience each time. There are some wonderful views from the rooms and the club lounge.
Nice hotel but beware some rooms are tiny (and all are not big) . We were in 602 at the end of the corridor and could literally hardly get past each other. I think it is the end ones in each corridor which are so small. In very busy area But sound proofing is superb. Also air con excellent. Clean . Nice bathroom except shower will not point in right direction . V comfy beds. Tea tray. black out curtains. 25 minute walk to old town. Not best area in terms of real experience as equivalent of just off Oxford Street. Restaurants and bar inside are expensive. But amazing restaurant and bar called Casa Oamenilor de Știință almost literally next door behind huge black Iron dracula style gates. Historic building and Garden at back is like oasis with lovely trees and flowers. Peaceful.
Selfishly this is very close to my office but also a short walk from the old town which gets better each time I visit. I usually stay in a club room which gives me access to a club lounge, somewhere to slink off to do a few hours work. Japanese restaurant is good to have but some of the new places in the old town are much more appealing than going generic. Rooms are good with AC and, if you get a highish level, the views are wonderful. There's often a scrum at breakfast, this hotel seems to cater for the American visitors who are on Viking Cruise stopovers - use the executive lounge if that's the case. This throng does provide amusement at check-out time though and you shouldn't let this deter you from booking.
Good 30 minute walk from old town. Comfortable room and excellent food and wine. Used as base for organised Romanian trip. Really impressed by Bucharest . Young city with huge buzz about it . Ideal base.
Two nights on a business trip was great, especially for walking around in the evening and finding a good dinner place. Check-in and -out was perfect, the room was nice and convenient, modern with a fantastic view over the city. AC was good as we had warm nights. Breakfast was great with a big selection, but very crowded when there is a big bus tour with a lot US senior citizens. So I did have breakfast the second day in the Exec Lounge on the top floor, very quit and great as well! No local newspapers in the hotel and lobby was also surprising, but maybe just that morning. This is a wonderful Hotel, easy stay and a lot of good service and room quality. This is a absolute recommendation to stay, I will come back!
Hotel has good location near several cafes and shops. Staff friendly. Good japanese restaurant- good laundry service. The only down side is furniture is a old and needs renovation. But in general i think one of the best hotels in town with best location
We had some difficulties with luggage arriving, but Sabina, at the front desk made sure to alert us the moment it arrived from the airport. Front desk staff is very friendly and helpful The breakfast is very good, but the staff seem a bit rushed in the dining room
Upon arriving to lovey Bucharest, I checked in to Sheraton and Sabina took very good care of me and made me feel warm welcome to the hotel and to the lovely city. Their lounge on floor 18 is well serviced and in and around the hotel is there places to eat.
My husband and I went on vacation to Bucharest. We had an amazing time! I We stayed at the Sheraton Bucharest, very good location in the city center, the rooms are very nice, The hotel employees were very helpful. I especially appreciated the help from Sabina in recommending wonderful places to visit and eat as well as how to get around the city! I highly recommend visiting Bucharest!
The Sheraton in Bucharest was our first stop on a five country tour. What a lovely beginning to a great adventure. The staff was most helpful and always very courteous. I especially appreciated the help from Sabina in recommending wonderful places to dine in authentic cuisine, and ALL the assistance from Razvan in booking our airport transfer as well as an amazing full day tour of Transylvania [at a better price than was on Trip Advisor], Beautiful Hotel, lovely dining, great staff.
