Room was nice and comfortable but could use some refresh like the whole place. We have never had room being checked by hotel staff on checkout before :) Lack of parking, but plenty of spaces around it with no parking fees.
The place is old and small but it is good if you plan to be out all the time. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean and big enough. The breakfast is OK. Don't have a buffet, you have to choose one of the menus on the list and if you want something extra like expresso (which is not a really expresso by the way) or orange juice you need to pay separately.
A weak stream of water in the shower, I found a cockroach twice in the shower, did not change towels, a very dark hotel in the corridors, and the electricity was not properly flashing, no breakfast. the enterence not good no have lobby. they have good location.
being a 3 stars hotel is a good worth of money if you don't need an hotel to staying in the whole time. Rooms are big enough to move around. The staff is helpful and speak several languages, italian included.(the receptionists don't speak italian ) there's a fridge where you can store your own drinks or food and there's a tea maker (but no tea included, wrong!). we had some problems in the bathroom, after having shower, the water comes out of the shower, and the last day we didn't have our bathfoam or soap. breakfast can be included at the price of 7 or 8 euro.....not good. Wi-fi fortunately is included. Although is on the main street is not too noisy.
Very central, with friendly staff and lovely rooms. Stayed on the 2nd floor with balcony overlooking one of Bucharest's main Bulevards. Nothing was too much trouble and any issues resolved immediately. Having decent security was reassuring also. Would certainly stay here again.
It's a good hotel, good location near club and pubs, central location, good price!!its second time when I come to this hotel and I feel like home, the room are clean and is very quiet in the hotel.good stuff, very helpful. Nothing to complain!!
Me and my houseband have made a reservation for one night for our family (in booking.com). We went to pick them up at 12:00 then next day and they were waiting standing in the míddle of the hall, for the maid to check the rooms they just left. The maid (I suppose she was the maid, she had no ID) came back after a while saying that there was a towel missing and she asked the guests to open their suitcases to check if they have took it!!! My brother in law said there was only one towel in the room but she didn't mind, she said either she registers the baggages or they have to pay the towel. And she placed the prices list on the desk. After she checked their suitcases in the space between the elevador and the desk, she offered no apologize saying she was actinig according to the hotel's rules, and saying this is a common procedure in hotels all over the world!!!! I think this person (on duty on 14 aug) shouldn't be working with public as she has no educación. The rest of the team were helpful (male staff), actually one of them had to apologize for his collegue's behaviour. I cannot express any other opinión as I wasn't a guest, I can only express my desagreement for the treat they received as I was there helping them with the language. We sent our opinion to Booking, as they have asked for it, and we're still waiting to see our comment published!
I stayed at Hotel Relax Comfort Suites in Bucharest for 2 nights and regretted it. The photos look like they were from 15 years ago. The rooms are old, blankets are dusty and dirty, and the shower head holder was broken. There was no breakfast served, and they charged me $41 to lander a few t-shirts and socks. Worst thing was their management not taking responsibility and listening to my complaints. They tried to blame it on the receptionist and threatened to take take it out of her paycheck. This place needs to shut down and get reopened by an owner that understands business instead of being stuck in 1993 which these rooms are from. As for laundry, they need to offer bulk washing per kilo and not waste 10 hangers for every t-shirt and over charge.
Relax Comfort Suites is a 3-star environment. I returned to this location just because it is located near University Square and the room with whirlpool bath. We found the same cosmetics mediocre, good for a 2 star hotel. I appreciate yet comfortable bed, spacious and clean and that breakfast is served in the room at no extra cost.
this is one of those hotels where the entrance is between 2 shops and the reception is on the first floor. the receptionist was not welcoming. the hotel is very mush in need of a face lift, old fixtures and fittings everywhere, threadbare throw on the bed, really shappy. i didn't look to closely at the linens. Location is ok, near old town just a couple of streets away from the intercontinental but it's a couple of streets towards the seedier end of town. i was approached by a pimp on my way into the hotel. The old town in Bucharest is really fun and i enjoyed my visit but this hotel is not very good.
