Bad experience

I have used VRBO over 20 times, 95% of my reviews are 4-5 star. This place was a BAD experience. No microwave so you must re-heat everything on the stove. Sleeps 9 people in beds and coffee maker makes 2.5 cups at a time. Upstairs shower does not drain. Door lock broke inside but there was a 2nd. Pull handle on door also broke. Owner left 2 towels for each of 3 bathrooms. She said if we wanted more we could go buy some. House shows no pride in ownership. Any thing that needed replacing was done with cheap merchandise. Owner never responded to calls but expected us to when there was a problem with the pool. Some kid pooped in the pool so it was closed. It takes 16-24 hours to fix that problem but pool was closed for 4 days, untill we left. Big problem was I booked for 5 adults and 4 kids. She said reservation show no kids so we had to pay for them. $6300 pesos mx or $420 american. If we did not pay her, we could not stay. In a foreign country with 2 kids and no place to go, I paid. Right now I am on hold with VRBO to attempt to fix this situation. She did not want to go through VRBO for the cash so she shorted them also. Location good, can walk to store. Wifi great, a/c great no problem. Spacious and safe with a security guard at gate. Having added the good DO NOT STAY HERE! Owner unreliable and unhelpful.
