Wat hebben we hier een heerlijk verblijf gehad! Barbara is een super gastvrije en betrokken gastvrouw: ze vroeg regelmatig of we nog iets nodig hadden, reageerde snel op vragen en zorgde ervoor dat we ons echt welkom voelden. Bij aankomst stonden er lekkere koude drankjes klaar en was alles aanwezig voor een lekker ontbijt. Het huis ligt op een prachtig terrein met een fijne (grote!) tuin en heerlijk, verkoelend zwembad. Ook voor onze hond was het een ideale plek: het hele terrein is omheind, waardoor hij heerlijk vrij buiten kon rondlopen. Ook de horren voor de ramen waren erg prettig. Het dorpje Bubbio ligt op loopafstand en biedt fijne voorzieningen, leuke koffietentjes, restaurants én de shop van Barbara, met heerlijke locale producten. We hebben genoten van de rust, het mooie weer, de omgeving en het contact met Barbara en haar familie (en natuurlijk met hun lieve hond Masha!). We kijken met een heel goed gevoel terug op ons verblijf en zouden deze plek zeker aanraden!
