Pet/Biker Friendly House on Horseshoe Hill. Minutes to the NOC and Bryson City

This house was built by my father and the craftsmanship is what sets it apart from most rentals. You will find numerous natural elements integrated throughtout that were sourced from the land surrounding the house. I provide every amenity imaginable and then some. There is a Wii console with an array of games and numerous board games for family fun. Both bedrooms have ROKU T.V.s with Hulu, Paramount + and Peacock included. Master has two Queen beds with a dual sink tub /shower combo. Main floor has a Queen bed and a step in handicap shower with 3 saftey bars and seats. Large kitchen has an island with extra sink and every 'kithen gadget' needed to make cooking an ease. Back porch offers a charcoal grill, 6 person spa, overlooks a man made pond/waterfall and faces 3 miles of forest. There is also a firepit with Adirondack chairs, a outdoor table and hammock nearby. The outdoor living space is lit with fariy lights when the sun goes down. There is also a ladder ball, bean bag toss game for outdoor fun. Fully paved access and a 4WD is not needed. Only 2 miles from the 28/74 Hwy split at Fontanta lake where there is access for swimming and other water activities. 10 min from the Nantahala Outdoor Center for white water rafting. 15 min from the Smoky Mountain Railway in Bryson City. $50 Pet Fee per dog per stay. Limit 2 dogs unless prior approval is given. Dogs are not to be left in home alone without being crated.
The cabin is air-conditioned and features a kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and a patio, and there's space to spread out with 2 bedrooms. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a fireplace, and a coffee maker.

Beautiful cabin. We enjoyed a quiet peaceful, much needed weekend getaway. We loved the porch and fairy lights at night. The host is absolutely amazing. Very attentive and knowledgeable.

Trena (pronounced treh-nah) was awesome and flexible. We added two days and a person and she was willing to let us check in late at night when we hit traffic. The cabin itself is so cute and cozy. The gas fireplace was out for a day but she fixed it as soon as she knew. The hot tub was inflatable but fine for a small group. We thoroughly enjoyed the views and surrounding cities. The kitchen was stocked well (be sure to sharpen the knives). The wifi was a bit spotty and one of the rails to the stairs is a little loose, but as a group of adults it was fine for us. The stairs are also a little steep as a heads up.

The host was very welcoming and friendly during the entire visit. Cabin is a great place to stay. Several small amenities are present such as coffee filters and paper towels. We used the hot tub, charcoal grill (with a charcoal starter chimney) and fire pit for s’mores.

Family trip- rented because its wheelchair accessible- things to know pavement ends leaving you thick gravel to pull wheelchair thru. Ramp is slick and very steep. No safety bar for to pivot at toilet. Shower safety is adequate for assistance but not someone with limited mobility. But better than most showers in handicap accessible rentals.Cabin good size for cost the island was nice. Owner and neighbors very close and parking is small. Owner nice and not intrusive.

Trena was a stellar host! We loved her cabin hideaway in the woods. So many neat features from the back porch to the hot tub to the cute little neighbors dog named biscuit coming by to say hey! We will definitely book again when we are out that way! Thank you

Cute Mountain Cabin

This house is super cute. It was perfect for our group. We had 5 adults, and a toddler. The host is very responsive to messages, and you can really tell the extra effort they put into the place. The cabin was decorated for Christmas with lights and everything. The only thing negative I would say is that the hot tub is inflatable, which we are not expecting. And the chemical chlorine smell was so strong with the bubbles on that you couldn’t sit in it. I feel like the cabin was priced appropriately, but it was still a little disappointing to not be able to enjoy the hot tub like we had planned. Just something to know before booking if the hot tub is super important to you. Overall, we would stay here again!

Simply AMAZING

Beatiful and secluded. House was decorated inside and out in a autumn theme. Trena was there to greet us. And even had a dog (Biscuit) from the mountain visit EVERY day, multiple times. The best and friendliest experience my wife and I have ever had on vacation. Thanks to Trena.
