The Pantone Hotel

Me and my partner spent 2 nights at the Pantone Hotel while visiting Brussels in July. The hotel itself looks funky, the reception was helpful at all times and the location was good. Since the hotel is not exactly in the center-center we had the chance to discover Brussels even more by foot and rarely even used the metro. Our room was relatively small but for a short stay, it suited us just fine. The room did look a bit worn-out, but the bed was super comfortable and there was no noise from the streets nor from other rooms. It was also a nice surprise to find a small kettle with supplementary coffee, tea and hot chocolate in the room, for some reason not a lot of hotels do that anymore. Overall, we were happy with the stay and would stay in Pantone again when visiting the beautiful city of Brussels.

Very cheap, great location for the subway, and a nice hotel. The breakfast isn't worth the money, given how many nice bakeries can be found in Brussels. There's not a huge amount more to add, it's a great budget hotel.

I spent 2 nights and days at pantone with my girlfriend. The hotel concept itself is very nice and colourful, but probably more from the outside than inside. we found the hotel quite old in some parts and needing a renew. Elevator and common spaces were quite dirty. Walls colors needed painting. But the room was nice. Personal at lobby not very kind and prepared. Position is conversely convenient, just 10 min walking from the center, and price very convenient!

This hotel was very comfortable and cute. It was right in front of a bike rental spot and had some really good restaurants nearby. It was far from the city center, but in a really cool area of Brussels.

we were in the terrace suite/room, our experience was terrific. very friendly staff, answered every question, directions simple and practical...extremely no fuss place, central yet quiet location, good breakfast. our room had a terrace attached on either side and the views we got of Brussels were superb. good wifi, very nice bathroom, couple of English news channels, we were very happy to be here. if in Brussels, will stay only at this place again and again.

We loved staying at this hotel - we stayed 4 nights as a couple with our 7 month old daughter. Staff - super friendly and helpful. Location - very close to restaurants, metro, shopping and a great deli 4 mins walk away. Bed - big and comfortable! Rooms - big and clean. Breakfast - a small range of good quality items. Nespresso coffee machine. Cooked food available. I was impressed. Launderette - 3 mins down the road - very helpful lady runs it. I can't really fault this hotel, especially for the price. It isn't a fancy, grand place, but it is very well run and an ideal location for a city break.

On the plus side, the location of the hotel is fantastic. You are 10 minutes away from Hotel des Monnaies, and 10 minutes away from Parvis St Gilles. The neighborhood is nice, with everything you may want to look for (restaurants, supermarkets, pharmacy...). The rooms in itself are small but clean and functional. The reason why I would hesitate to go back is that the customer service was really poor. Staff does not want to help, and has some practices that are a bit disingenuous. One example is the breakfast. It is not included in the room, which is fine, but nobody at the hotel reminds you, and there is no mention of the breakfast price anywhere. Considering that breakfast cost 15 euros per person per day (for a small very simple buffet with only cereals, eggs and pastries), I found the practice a bit disingenuous.

The Pantone hotel is wel situated close to the Avenue Louise. It's design is playing with the pantone colors and gives the hotel a young and trendy look. The superior room was great. Breakfast is a various buffet. Staff is quite friendly. At a 5 minutes walk you will find a good choice of restaurants. As for the area, just take a walk in Sint-Gilles, it is okay.

I really liked my stay at this hotel! This was my first time in Brussels so consequently I don't know how good other local hotels are. However, it was clean, had an amazing personality to the building, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast fantastic and diverse (although you do pay extra for it). I've heard people say that the area (Saint-Gilles) has moderate crime and I personally saw none of that. During my stay my friend and I went walking through the neighborhood and it was fairly peaceful. There were not tons of people out and the those that were were usually cute couples. This is great because there was not really any noise pollution at night when we were trying to sleep. Plus the view from our room was beautiful - it overlooked the little park in front of the hotel. All of the staff that I met were unfailingly nice and helpful! Everything was fantastic, and we could not have asked for a better deal! I would definitely come back to The Pantone and recommend it to others.

Everything was nice but a bit tired and tatty. In need of a refresh. The rooms are fine but on the small side. Staff were mainly good /great but I was slightly baffled by the girl who just seemed to sit there all day every day checking her phone. I'm not even sure if she worked there but she was behind in the staff area. Lack of fridge in the room a downside but ice was available. Towels are (as always) tiny!! Room was however very clean, and the downstairs area was a lot nicer/newer feeling than the rooms/corridors. Doors/walls very thin. Beware of those returning late at night waking you up!
