Start with the great people at the front desk then the rooms and location and breakfast. Giorgio, Said, Muhammed, Said and Benoit + many others. Total customer focus - breakfast is absolutely the best. Our room was always clean, light, everythng worked perfectly and we wanted for nothing. WiFi was always available. Location in Sablon is perfect for us. Notre Dame church across the street, many fine shops and restaurants literally outside the front door and the Grande Place easy walking distance. We will look forward to staying here again.

We booked this hotel for a short visit to Brussels and a concert in Forest National (taxi 15€). Late check out (12.00h). Great hotel meeting NH standards. Nicely and newly decorated rooms, with beautiful view on Sablon market. Good breakfast and very friendly service. Parking service is worth it and the flexible hours are appreciated.

the room are comfortable. Breakfast is good. The only issue I faced during my stay is the weak wifi signal in my room. The business conference room don't benefit from daylight : not so nice. Lunch served during business event were very basic.

I stayed at the NH Collection Brussels Grand Sablon for two nights in early September on my first stop on a week-long trip through Belgium. The hotel is very clean and modern with a very warm feel. The room was quite large and well appointed, including a Nespresso machine and a very large bathroom with shower and tub. As with many hotels in older buildings, there was a lot of noise transfer into the room from the hallway and the other rooms, but it was generally very quiet at night and I was able to sleep well. I was surprised on my second day that the three Nespresso coffee pods provided were not restocked when the room was serviced. However, I asked at the front desk for a few extra pods and they actually delivered to my room an entire sleeve of ten pods. This was the type of service one would expect from a hotel with such good ratings. I ate breakfast one morning at the hotel; it was quiet expensive (which seems to be the case at hotels in Belgium) and nothing special. The location is ideal. It is very central but just outside the main touristy area so much quieter than some other areas. It is about a 20 minute walk to the Central Station and perhaps 20-30 minutes to Grand Place. Make sure you ask the hotel for detailed directions from the train station if you are planning to walk. I did ask for directions from the hotel, but they were not detailed enough and I got lost. I would definitely stay here again next time I am in Brussels. I am looking at other NH Collection hotels in Europe as well.

My first engagement with this hotel was in 2011 and at that time it was a nice hotel, but old and outdated. However the service was excellent. But my company preferred another hotel, so the last 5 years I spent my Brussels overnight elsewhere. Finally I returned this month for two nights in the renewed Grand Sablon and it was a very very nice stay. The rooms are modern and comfortable, the beds are good and the breakfast is okay. Strong argument to stay here is the surrounding of the old center. And the service and nice staff has not changed. I you want to stay in a nice hotel in the old center, consider this hotel.

The hotel is in a great location, right in the center of Brussels with a beautiful square right in front of it and tons of cute restaurants. The rooms are simple and modern, with a lovely bathroom. And the buffet breakfast was delicious (though the cut fruit were rather unappetizing and some of the silverware and plates were not very clean). My complaints were twofold: -the bed was very uncomfortable. It's on wheels so it moved with you throughout the night. A bit like being on a ship. -the walls are super thin! You can hear everything that's happening in the bathroom and in the hall as though it's happening right under your nose. One last thing, they've made away with the usual hanging cards (Do not disturb/Please make up my room) and replaced them with a button and a little light. While we're sure we pressed the "make up my room" option, by the time we got back to the hotel around 5PM, it was clear nobody had set foot inside the room. It might just have been a mistake on our part, but a word to the wise: tell the reception when you leave and want the room made.

Lovely quiet hotel 10 minutes from the town centre and in a lovely square - close to all attractions and good selection of bars and restaurants really close by - nice clean room and well maintained during our stay

Our stay at the NH hotel in Brussels was wonderful overall. Parking was somewhat hard to locate (and not clearly labelled) but not far from the hotel. Everything was close by so walking was ideal anyways. The room itself was beautiful and met expectations, and the view from our room was stunning. The staff really sealed the deal on our stay though. Jonathan at the front desk helped us out immensely, giving us great customized dinner recommendations including outlining how to get there. He also pointed out several must-see's in the area and gave us directions to those too. Most of all he was truly pleasant to speak with and although we aren't the type of people to usually stay in this kind of high end hotel, he didn't treat us differently for it and was very friendly and welcoming. Overall the personality and humor of the staff, particularly Jonathan, really made our short stay great and for that I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone in the area.

My husband and I spent a long weekend at this lovely hotel in Brussels. It was a surprise trip for his 30th birthday and in the booking I had written a little note to the hotel. When we arrived, we found a plate of sweets and fruits and two helium balloons with a note from the hotel wishing him a happy birthday. Such a sweet initiative from the hotel staff and what a great start for our weekend. We were so happy to stay there and you can tell that they have thought of the little details to make this a modern hotel: from the hidden cables for the TV, to the button by the door to notify the cleaning staff. We got a bottle of water daily and nespresso coffee. Additionally, I couldn't have chosen a better location for our stay in Brussels. The Grand Sablon area is close by the central station and the tourist attractions by Grand Place but also it is far enough so you don't feel crowded. Instead you feel a bit more like the locals surrounded with small cafes/restaurants/bars in a posh neighbourhood right by the Magritte Museum. We would definitely return to this hotel next time we are in Brussels. Thank you for a lovely stay!
