NH Brussels Grand Place Arenberg

Pros: Good location Comfy bed Cons: The shower was not the one pictured on orbitz, like showering in a vertical coffin. Even leaving the curtain open- the proximity to the Shower limited movement. I've stayed in Japanese hotels that had larger bathrooms Walls are paper thin Check in/check out took entirely to long

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel - it was very close to all attractions (walking distance) and less than 5 minutes to restaurants and the Grand Place. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was very large, clean, comfortable.

We stayed at the NH Bruxelles Grand Place Arenberg on a quick weekend trip to Brussels. The location was excellent (close to the main tourist attractions without being on a busy or noisy road).

Front staff was very friendly and helpful. I believe Mike helped us and recommended some good places to see. The hotel is modern and clean, very comfortable stay.

We stayed in this hotel for 1 week while on vacation. The staff was always kind, friendly and professional. As tourists, the location was perfect. The hotel is close enough to walk to all tourist locations. We did not use any buses or metro. Perfect to roll luggage to/from train station. The mattress was extremely uncomfortable and hard. I could feel all of the springs. After 2 nights, I asked the desk to have a comforter to be placed between the mattress and sheet. Staff did this and the bed was better. The cleanliness should have been better. Clean wine classes had wine stains and tiles, walls and floors would have debris and dead insects. None of this would be removed during the week. The bathroom smelled of dampness and small winged insects would come from the drains and fly in the room. We would have to kill them.

Excelente location. a little complicated to park the car. The restaurant is lovely

Great experience with a big-chain business hotel. Hotel was close to Central Station so we easily walked to the hotel with our luggage. Our room was a Triple and the room was spacious even with the extra bed. And the air conditioned really worked (this was a problem with many other hotels in Belgium that we stayed at). The free internet had excellent speed so my son could Skype his girlfriend, though the computer terminal in the lobby required a fee to use. Around the corner was the covered pedestrian mall (Galeries Royales Saint-Hubert) which made it easy to get to the tourist center (Grote Markt) quickly , without getting lost (the roads can be confusing) and avoid any drizzling rain. Only downside was the toilet was in a cramped separate room from the main shower/sink bathroom.

Good expierience. Our room was good and spacioous, however a friend who traveled with us complained that his room was too hot and the Air condition was not working

the a/c did not work. after send a tech and not repairing it the hotel got very rude. blaming me for not letting them know earlier and there was nothing they could do since they were holding rooms for guests that have not arrived. after some arguments and him pointing his finger at me and being the rudest person on my trip they finally changed my room. if you have another choice don't bother with this place.

Mixed feelings. The first room we were assigned was unacceptable. TINY bathroom with a ridiculously small and un-tidy shower. Thankfully, we asked for a room with a bathtub and were given a much much larger room with a seperate bath/shower and toilet room for no extra charge. So there's a tip for you -ask for a room with a bathtub! Other than that, the room was clean, modern and very comfortable. Breakfast buffet was excellent with a lot of choices and the location was about a five minute walk from the main roads and attractions. Friendly Staff!

The hotel has a good location. It's about 5 minutes walking to Grand Place, and 10 minutes from the Brussels Central train station. Room was clean, modernly furnished, and had AC. Pretty much what you would expect from the NH chain of hotels.
