Bathroom is in bad condition and requires general refurbishment (floor, celling, walls, bath tube screen). Water pressure is close to 0. I am bald but when I think about ladies trying to wash their thick hairs it makes me sorry for them. There is no soap plate in the bathroom - where to put soap after you open it?. Why not to use liquid soap? The breakfast food is totally bland. Personnel sometimes even do not care to reply to good evening (the only one polite gentleman was the one from the first day). Light switches on the sides of bed are grouse - so sticky that they should not even be considered for cleaning but should be replaced at once!
The only good thing about this hotel was that the room was ok. The restaurant was very poor, at breakfast quite regularly the supposed hot food was cold. In the evening time it closed quiet early (if it bothered to open at all which it didn't one night) there was very little choice and the food was not that good and both bar & restaurant are expensive, unfortunately the only other outlets in the area was a burger bar and kebab shop.
Comfortable room albeit we had ordered a twin room and was given a double. Basic facilities were welcome. Staff struggling to meet demand for breakfast due to a lot of guests and we had to frequently ask for items to be replenished. Due to a tight timeframe, we settled for a very light breakfast. Porterage service wasn't up to standard on our departure. Wouldn't be in a rush to stay anytime soon
Brussels Airlines put us up here for the night. Everything about the Hotel is average apart from the marvellous staff who work so hard to ensure your stay is as comfortable as it can be. Free shuttle bus to the airport! Good
Very easy access to NATO HQ. Just a short walk from main gate. A very average hotel, OK rooms, the TV channels are for Belgians only!!! Very bad selection of channels. The rooms are OK, if the AC had worked. Some general problems with the cooling system this week. The so called fitness sentre is out of date, in a room in the cellar without windows. Not up to date. Breakfast is OK, chaos if more than 20 guest to eat at the same time.
Using online check in meant a quick input on arrival and a warm welcome. Bedrooms large and reasonably well appointed. Mine was at the back, so quitet but facing the sun so very hot despite aircon. Bar drinks and meals very good as was service. Breakfast I would describe as OK but unimaginative. I was never asked for my voucher so i needn't have paid for it!
Stayed just one night in this hotel. It's a bit outdated but close to office in Dieleman and airport. The area of the hotel does note have a lot of possibilities to eat out etc. Parking is convenient and free during the evening and night. Breakfast is OK, nothing special.
If you like the idea of sleeping on a motorway this is the hotel for you ! Hotel on main route to airport . Very noisy. Buses cars motor bikes racing by all hours day and night. Poor insulation from road noise. Room walls paper thin. Kept awake by neighbours talking until 2 am, road noise all night and airline crews departing from 5-30 am. Directed to smoking floor , but assured hotel was non smoking Whole floor reeked of stale tobacco. Quite horrible. Add to this a narrow single bed and you have a pretty awful nights sleep ( or virtually no sleep in my case) Front desk staff very nice and apologetic but the fundamentals will not change Don't stay here
Stayed here for 2 nights on business. Initial impressions were good, got to my room and the room was clean. Went in the bathroom and the shower was dripping onto a sodden towel underneath the shower head - bit weird. Bed was rock solid but slept ok considering the aeroplanes flying overhead (inevitable in this area in Brussels). Breakfast was ok, the 'hot' food was barely warm though which was not good. There was also a massive queue for drinks during breakfast as you had to cut your own oranges to make orange juice - not the most efficient in a business hotel where people are probably in a rush. Got back to my room on the second evening and it stank of cigarette smoke despite it being a non smoking room - not very impressed at all. Overall the stay was ok but there is definitely room for improvement.
I aas there for 1 week because of business. Very close an convenient the position for the airport. Just 20 euro taxi far. The hotel itself is ok. Not super not bad. Around there is almost nothing.. city center quite far. Nice gym with technogym machines is available!
