It took me 2 hours between checking-in at the front desk and being able to rest in a hotel room bed. Is that normal? The front desk knew it but never mentioned that Floor 7 and 8 are unbearably hot and just assigned me a room. Then when I complained that the room was unbearably hot they said to just open the window. EUR225 for an open window room? Really? Then when I declined to do so due to my pollen allergy they say they do not have any more rooms. Then I had to be difficult and tell them they need to find me another hotel - suddenly they find 5 rooms on the 2nd floor. Why the games? The AC on the second floor wasn't working either. When I report, they say it is because of huge demand in the hotel. What does that even mean? Huge demand? You know the 100% capacity of the hotel, invest in a decent capacity AC system. Horrible hotel and horrible service! No more business from me or my company. You have been blacklisted.
Lovely one night stopover. Lovely quiet room. Great soft beds and well appointed rooms withal the bathroom toiletries one needs. Good food and excellent breakfast......we ate on the evening and food was very good.!
My husband and I had our flight cancelled and were not allowed our luggage due to the amount of planes cancelled due to the snow and Birmingham Airport being closed. We randomly booked this hotel to get in somewhere quick. We turned up with the clothes we were wearing and nothing else. We were lent phone chargers at no extra cost. I went into the little shop and picked up toothbrushes and toothpaste took them to reception and the nice guy behind the counter said 'no' and handed me complimentary toothbrushes and toothpaste. They could have totally taken advantage of our sorry situation to make more money but they didn't.Its nice to know that humanity still exists. fantastic experience when we were feeling very low. Thank you x
I had an overnight layover in Brussels and wanted a reasonably priced safe and clean hotel that had a free airport shuttle that was within walking distance to restaurants. For that, I got exactly what I had wanted. Finding the shuttle was easy with the directions that they gave and check in was easy. The first room they gave me smelled so strongly of smoke that I had to switch to another room. The rooms were fine. Like others have said, this isn't the most up to date hotel and it's definitely had its wear and tear. There was a very good restaurant almost next door that was great. Would this be a hotel that I would want to stay multiple days? Probably not, but for what I needed, it was good and I would stay here again.
Very clean and comfortable room and en suite, excellent facilities and friendly and courteous staff who spoke excellent English. Food was great and reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
Week-end Google régularité tous Brussels tous visité pour children, but stat overnight in an hôtel. Beginnning December week-end bad pour litote doge dithyrambique us, à clean and no hairs-loosing board poodle and derrière charged €25 per night. We consider this price as a gross overcharging out of all proportion with reality and in fact double the price in all similar Accor hotels. Our complaints were rejected. So for our future stays in Brussels we shall go to another Accor hotel and this Mercure hotel has lost a regular customer.
Globally it' s all right but you defikitively see that the best days of this hotel are gone. I wouldn' t say the room has not been cleaned but please at least think about replacing a curtain as dirty as this one! The kind of carpets you' re afraid to step on. Full of spots just as the curtain.
This hotel was used as a stop over on the way to Austria the standard and attention to detail especially the rooms could have been better , being so close to the Airport Aircraft noise was noisey at times ,
This modern hotel was very well appointed, especially the rooms which were spacious and very comfortable. The continental breakfast was excellent and the staff in reception, especially A min, were very friendly and helpful. Even though it was by the airport,we had a great nights sleep and would certainly recommend it to anyone in the future.
Good service, good location for business, easy to reach by public transport. Good rooms, a bit outdated area, not the nicest part of Brussels but very close to the AirPort euch is very convinient. Friemelt staff
