Martin's Brussels EU

The hotel is very well located for EU business. It is a practical and functional hotel. It is not quite Spartan but isn’t fancy or exciting by any stretch of the imagination. The room is ok, clean, the bed is ok, but the rest isn’t comfortable (for example, there is a chair, it’s not comfortable but functional). A soap dish in the bathroom would be an idea. The breakfast buffet offering is quite decent, including warm items and smoked salmon :) The personnel is friendly and usually helpful.

I found the room to be comfortable and quiet with a clean bathroom which has a bible bath feature. All the space you need and connections for a computer are provided. Bar service in the evening was a bit patchy but otherwise would recommend. Close to schuman station and a number of restaurants nearby make it a good choice.

they organise really good st Valentine dinners in the hotel restaurant. You do not need to stay in the hotel for this. You can choose several dates around the day itself. Very good set menu with wine pairing. Classy decor and decorated for the evening, intimate feel. Live pianist. Very attentive service. Thank you and we will be back. Drawbacks: overpriced but this is Brussels; very unpleasant aggressive spotlights instead of pleasant soft floodlight but most restaurants and shops do this same mistake.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was very clean, friendly staff and a really good breakfast, solid Wifi... The beds were very comfortable! Would definitely come back next time! We would highly recommend this hotel!

A nice bed, fine tv and a desk for working. Small room and shower standing in bath tub. Really expensive breakfast as extra: 23 €. Location is allright. Somebody else booked this hotel - I would not book it again.

Very good location if you are in Brussels for EU stuff: the hotel is right next to the Berlaymont building. Friendly staff at reception. Decent room at first sight: nothing grand, but functional. Good common areas. Good breakfast place. Trouble is the noise - I don't know if I was given the worse room of the place, but the wall next to my head seems to have been located next to a place where staff or clients were chatting from early hours. Quite unpleasant, to say the least...

I had a very good stay here, good location, good hotel and the staff were very friendly speaking multiple languages. Breakfast was very good too. I would definitely stay here again if I returned to Brussels.

A one night stay that suited my needs, the bed was comfy and the shower ok. Breakfast was good in what is quite a ‘trendy’ restaurant area. Staff very pleasant and helpful. The hotel has some underground parking which costs about 12 euros, but it is tight access so if you are a nervous driver or are driving a big 4 by 4 then beware. Only downside was that my room smelt smokey, but I didn’t raise it with staff until morning as I arrived late and was too tired to bother!

Check in was friendly, correct en swift. A little more extra information is necessary . De paint jobs in this hotel are terrible(take a look around the doors.) the temperature Overal for the hotel was cold. The breakfast employee was not friendly I was greeted (45 before the end of breakfast) with a look at her watch to see what time it was. The breakfast items were not correct in temperature (bacon, eggs were cold) the fruit was hard and not ready for consumption . Nice location much restaurants nearby.

I stayed here one night for business. The staff was so helpfull and nice. I needed urgent help with printing some documents which they took care of immediately. My bed and duvet were so good! The breakfast is good but I missed strong brewed coffee. The gym is ok, but the treadmills was old. But overall is a nice hotel, good price and very closed to the Europeans institutions. And helpful staff which means a lot!
