It was a good choice. Good location, easy to get to train station.
Staff and hotel both are very nice. Value for money.
Very comfortable hotel even with electric kettle in the room. Not very far from city center.
Great hotel within walking distance of city center. Arrived late, so hotel restaurant was not serving food but the bar was still open. A few late patrons at the bar were a bit loud but friendly. Service was also friendly. Next morning, ordered breakfast option and breakfast buffet was good. Room was clean and spacious. Hotel mixed up the timing of a taxi we ordered for departure to the airport but then hotel staff quickly fixed the issue and we left essentially on time.
great location. Close to grand place and shopping street friendly and helpful staff.
Stayed 3 days at the end of a 2 week trip. This was the largest and most comfortable room we had on our entire trip. It is a short hike 15-20 minutes to the city center and train station which worked well for us.
This hotel is centrally located a shirt walk from the main historic square. Staff are sharp and attentive. Rooms could use a bit if an update but overall fully suitable, comfort ale, usable etc. Would stay again.
Great location! Price vs. service and confort is goo!
weren't able to check in until skightly after 3 after being told to come back at 230. that being said we overslept and checked out at 12 instead with no problem. equally close to Brussels Nord and all the sites Grand Place, christmas market etc. by close I mean walkable. even with luggage.
This was a wonderful hotel in a perfect location for exploring Brussels. Many good restaurants were nearby. The staff was outstanding - couldn't have been more helpful. The room was quiet and very comfortable. We will stay here again and strong recommend it to our friends.
We stayed here for a quick 1-day visit en route from Bruges to the Brussels airport. The hotel provided a great base for a quick exploration of Brussels; it was an easy walk from the Nord train station and to the Grand Place. We also found a lovely neighborhood not far away around the historic fish market that was full of good restaurants. The room was large by European standards and very comfortable. Breakfast was not included and seemed expensive at 17.50 euro's per person, so we skipped that.
Don't be turned off that this is described more as a business hotel -- my husband & I stayed here as tourists and had a great experience. Plus, I think as a hotel that more businessmen stay in works to its advantage in terms of the standards and cleanliness. The location is good -- a straight shot about half a mile from Noord station and half a mile the other direction to the awesome city center shopping/eating/sightseeing area. The hotel was very clean, and our room was clean except for the toilet (but I honestly think this was accidentally forgotten, just some wee splashes, so nothing horrible). The room decor and furniture and finishes were superb! The hotel has a modern lobby area, but the rooms have a more cozy feel with with the decor and wood furniture & doors. The restaurant had excellent food, we ate dinner there one night, but did not try the breakfast (it was very expensive, like 19 euros pp I think). Plus it's close to so many other places to eat, easy to try less expensive local food. The staff was above average, polite and helpful. I do recommend getting a better city map than the one the front desk gives you, though. I saw other tourists with this great mass produced map, wish this hotel would supply that one to the guests! Overall, the best stay I've had in travels to Europe, and we got our room for under a hundred dollars a night -- can't beat that!
Beautiful, modern common areas. Acceptable European-standard room. Free wifi made a huge difference, though it did tend to cut out at midnight or so. Just a short walk both from Gare du Nord train station and from the tourist attractions at the center of town. As a solo female, never had a problem with the neighborhood, even late at night, despite the adult businesses nearby. Included or less expensive breakfast might have been nice.
This hotel had a good location and large rooms for being in the city center of Brussels. It was easy to get around Brussels on the metro. Get the 2 or 3 day pass!
