The room was quite old and looked in worse condition than in the photos online. The entrance/lobby to the hotel is much smaller and cramped and less luxurious than alluded to in the photos. I don't know what photo was used for this cover photo with the chandelier and staircase as that's definitely not the hotel. The red carpet in the room had stains on it. The door handle to the washroom was broken and falls out easily. The lift doors slam very hard and loud when they close.

Good hotel - Great location but very loud

Good hotel in a great location. Our main issue was the noise. Unfortunately, there were HUGE and very loud protests going on literally outside of our window every night. It was impossible to sleep even though we were exhausted from exploring the city.

Staff & Location were the Best Part! Room was nice, but very stuffy, and heater would heat up only portion of the room. Bathroom was very spacious, but shower door only covered part of the shower so water would splash everywhere. Definitely has potential to be a much nicer hotel! But they definitely did an awesome job with the Staff they hired!

Superb location right in the middle of the centre. Rooms are nice, big and very comfy. Our room had a balcony with the views of the theatre, cathedral and the market. The only downside was that our room didn't have a mirror instead there were two big mirrors in the bathroom. Not ideal if one needs to get ready and the bathroom is occupied. All in all great stay. Looking to book for next year already.

Great central location

Location is incredibly central to everything. Short walk to all the major attractions and restaurants. They share parking with the Marriott close by. If you are going to be parking a car, make sure you let them know in advance so that they can send you directions to get to the Marriott garage which is not easy to find on your own.

Dirty, unsanitary. It is one of the few hotels in my life where I walked out immediately after check-in. The walls were dirty, door frames chipped everywhere, ceramic floor cracked all over in the room, upper window was dirty… It generally just looked decrepit. I saw a rat dead outside the building right around the corner of the building. I lost 2 nights worth of reservation and I don’t regret it. The lobby looks good, the rooms don’t. Make yourself a favour, go elsewhere. The rooms looks much much worse than the pictures indicate.

I could not have asked for a better location. The hotel is near everything. The Beer museum is across from the hotel. The metro station is also near. There are several restaurants within feet of the hotel. The area is quiet, never felt uneasy going outside the hotel. The room was also spacious and clean. The room attendant kept us supplied with clean towels.

Perfect location and walking distance to everywhere including metro. We had to wait for almost 7hr to check in and was not fun after 11hr in flight, 3hr at airport and 1hr drive from airport. Even though email was sent for early check in but no room was available and had to wait which messed our jet lag and lost one day.
