No heating Staff not friendly Stinky place Not coming back

The rooms here are very small. Very basic amenities. However it is reasonably priced and very close to major attractions. I would stay here again.

As far as convenience for running the Brussels Marathon, this was a good location. Not too far from the start, and pretty close to the finish line. As far as convenience to seeing the sights, it's quite good as well -- you're near the City Hall and there are plenty of options for food and drink nearby. But the hotel itself is a disappointment. I never got the wifi to work in my room -- they insisted they had the right password but I and several others said it didn't work. We were told we were doing it wrong and everyone else had no trouble. I offered to show them what happened when I input the password but the desk was passive-aggressively dismissive. The wifi worked in the lobby... sometimes. But in trying to work there one of the desk staff kept having heated conversations with friends and the echo chamber of the room only made it louder. It seemed heated to me -- maybe it was just a friendly discussion of football. I sheepishly admit I only speak English so would occasionally not understand what was happening. My room was exceedingly dark. There was a window but it opened onto a brick wall and afforded little ventilation/light. It was also always too warm in the room no matter what I did to turn down or off the radiator. Overall, the location makes it an okay place but everything else makes me think there must be better options nearby.
